Ah Zhu and Zhong Ling from DGSD were mischevious and kinda witty/streetsmart too. Could roughly stand in for HR. But not sure if they would have liked GJ.

i think gj likes someone who is witty and abit naughty like hr. dont think guojing likes hua zhen, he will run away if forced to marry.

if hr is not around, he will go for someone like guo xiang... maybe he'll end up in the country side and marry guoxiang before she even reincarnated.

I know it's out of context (LOCH), but what about Zhao Ming? somehow I see similarities between her and HR revealed in the series.

But Zhao Min can't cook. j/k, GJ probably wouldn't be able to marry ZM after the Mongolians made his mother die, and ZM is Mongolian...
But he probably would like her personality...

I don't think ZM has enough patience to deal with GJ though. ZWJ was naive and too kind but he isn't stupid the way GJ is. There were times in the book where even HR got a little frustrated because he didn't get it. Unless i am only getting this impression from LOCH82 which i am currently rewatching for what must be at least the 19th time or so. I can't remember...speaking of LOCH82, i so love the chemistry between the casts. Never repeated chemistry. Incredible script. Totally awesome in so many ways that i don't really care about the many flaws.
