I have only recently heard about her, well mainly due to HZGG 3 and the topic of ROCH 03 from mainland china. and also because I have just bought a series of hers...Tears In Heaven, and well wanted to see more of her pics, and your opinions of her (mostly great and positive stuff I think)...

I like her a lot. She's a great antress and is very pretty too. The first time that I've seen her is Crouching Tiger, Hidden Draggon. She was good there. The 2nd serie that I've watch her is Wind and Cloud and her acting skill is just as good as CTHD. I'm looking forward to watch her in HZGG 3.

hehe, thanks for the pics...she reminds me of a certain hk actress of the late 80s/ early 90s...who acted with Stephen Chow a lot or something. saw her in plenty movies.

i'm really hoping that tears in heaven won't be disappointing for me...since i did buy it...will update on it later...should be coming later this week

"Tears In Heaven" is not bad except Shui Ling is a crybaby and the main guy is a wimp. The story is not bad though and Vincent was quite funny at times. I only thought Shui Ling was pretty with heavy makeup on, for example in TIH and the first part of "Wind and Cloud". But in other series she's so plain looking.

I mean I think she is one of China's treasures... most of her role she has been in she is a tough girl with a kind heart.

I enjoy her acting very much.

Totally AGREE!!
Most actresses in China put heavy makeup on (such as Shui Ling, Zhou Xun). They are not very pretty actually.

Shui Ling without make up is very pretty still... but I guess I don't think any actress go out without make up, really hard to tell.

Don't know about without makeup but....Shui Ling looks reeeaaaally beautiful *with* makeup....she has that perfect look for a singer in those umm pre-modern Shanghai-area-ish times...heheh
