Meteor Garden 1 or Hana Yori Dango???

MG1 is better than HYD1 . MG2 is terrible!
in HDY the f4 is not as good looking . and their fighting scenes look so fake that i laugh!

I disagreed, MG 1 nor 2 could compare with HYD 1 & 2! You see, the Japanese peoples have better instincts at bringing the manga to Life with their acting and story-line, (trust me, the HYD story-line have so many different stuff from the taiwan version) Taiwan just add stuff into their series to expand it... That's one reason why it was so draggy.... and Makino is soooo cute!!! Also the japanese songs are better then the songs on MG sung by F4 too, I LOVE Utada Hikaru song in HYD!!!

Oh, and Michelle Saram didn't spoil MG 2, I thought she have better acting skills then Barbie, just because she played the bad girl (Yesha), she didn't spoiled anything from it, I thought she deliver it good...

Michelle Saram spoilt the series totally. She can play an angel and still spoil the role. The only thing that helps her is her looks (she's of mix races right?) and even that is not helping all that much.

As to compare her to Barbie - admittedly, Barbie is not the best actress out there, but to say that she's worse than Michelle is definitely underrating her.

HYD is better than MG for 2 good reasons - people who might actually able to act & a nice and sharp storyline. Oh, and I forgot - why do taiwan idol drama keep having those really annoying parents characters who keeps shrieking?

HYD for me.

1) The pace was faster but it isn't too fast where you don't know what's going on. It was a good pace.

2) The Japanese cast was more stylish.

3) The quality of the production and picture is more superior than that of Taiwanese.

4) Natural acting

Besides, HYD manga is based more of Japanese personality than of Taiwanese. When Taiwanese act all cutesy, it doesn't look right.

HYD all the way! The actors, directing and sets were far superior. The abusiveness of F4 didn't piss me off in HYD like it did in Meteor Garden. It was clear that it was from a manga.

The female lead in Hana Yori Dango is a better actress imo.

The set/scenery of Hana Yori Dango was MUCH BETTER than that of Meteor Garden.

The actors in Meteor Garden are hotter but I like tall, skinny guys (ahem...Oguri Shun's Rui Hanazawa anyone?).

The girl in HYD is Inoue Mao.

I liked HYD much better than MG. The actors were way better looking, I found, and they seemed to suit their roles better. Like, they really did look like spoiled rich brats, whereas the actors in MG looked like bums. They were also much better actors.
The girl was also a much better actress and I thought that the whole cast portrayed their roles much better.
The set of HYD was also nicer than MG and the clothing as well.

I liked MG more... better story development and the cast fit their characters better (though HYD had better acting)
