I found this site that has stories and pictures of Barbara's life in England according to Rob. I thought it's pretty interesting as it has what I think pretty rare photos of Barbara.

Barbara Yung played the best RH ever made (yeah-yeah,its kinda repetition but its the fact). She made the child of me dream of perfect woman to be my wife came true, sadly for the un-happy ending of her, RIP Barbara.
BTW,anyone here have complete series/movies played by her? I want to complete my collection and really appreciate any kind of help

Rob was a decent guy at the time. I wonder why her mother was against her relationship with Rob. If she and Rob were married, things could be very different. Based on Rob story, her life was very stressful in England. I used to imagine she had a happy go lucky carefree life like her role in LOCH82. Never in my dream that her life was so stressful from the beginning till the end.

Today (7 May 2016) would be Barbara's 57th birthday had she not died young. I made an MV for her and uploaded it on YouTube:

Just in case YouTube ask me to delete it, I will upload it at Dailymotion and Vimeo as well. Check this link for the DM and Vimeo links:

I went to Cambridge UK last week on 28 July to visit Barbara's grave. Here's the notes of my trip there:

Sorry for replying, thus bumping this thread.

But thank you for sharing that photo! RIP. I can only imagine what her career would be like, if she was alive today! <3

Hi Wkeej, sorry for the very late reply. Yes, I cleaned the grave...

Sad news: Barbara's mother passed away at the age of 90 a month ago on 17 January 2017. I didn't know until a few hours ago... Cremation will be on 23 February 2017 at the Cambridge City Crematorium. For those who want to send flowers, can do so by reading the info at Rob Radboud's website:

    http://www.barbarayung.nl/barbara-s-...mother-funeral

Mrs Liu Ming Yee (Barbara's mother) had lead a wonderful, peaceful life in Cambridge until her death (well, except for during and a good few years after Barbara's death I gather...). Photos are here:
    http://www.barbarayung.nl/barbara-s-...er-passed-away

Her ashes will be buried next to Barbara's grave... so after 23 Feb, there will be two graves to visit and tend to in Cambridge...

No prob, Nan Ling. Now that I know for sure that Barbara's family is still in Cambridge, I feel more secured. They do clean up the grave, it's just because summer rain etc then the grass and flowers often grow wild there, hence the grave needs to be cleaned more often than what they were able to do.

Now that the ashes of Barbara's mother will be buried next to Barbara's grave, we will have two graves to visit in Cambridge.

I have visited Barbara's grave last week with Rob Radboud. My report can be read here:
    http://riverandlakerealm.blogspot.nl...b-radboud.html

From Rob Radboud (Barbara's former Dutch boyfriend), I learned that Barbara's family in Cambridge will replace her old white tombstone with a new one, where her mother's name will be scribed on as well. Rob Radboud and I think that the tombstone should be preserved instead of being thrown away... and the best place for us is Hong Kong, where Barbara's memorial tablet is located.

However, we have not found a person who can help us from the Hong Kong end. It will be a tedious task, involving surely permits and money, because transporting the tablet won't come as cheap. But as long as there is a will, surely there is a way.

The secretary of the HK fans club that Rob contacted said that the stone relocation might be more feasible to be relocated in China, because the fans club there was planning to make a Barbara museum in China. But Rob and I still think HK is the better place, for it was Barbara's birth place and she lived a significant portion of her life there.

Thus, we definitely need someone who lives in HK, or at least frequently visit HK. The plan has to move forward in two months, say by mid August, otherwise the old stone will not have a place to go (i.e. will be abandoned). Considering the historical value of the stone, I highly recommend we try to raise fund and work on the bueraucracy to move the stone to HK somehow.

Thus, please email me if you'd like to help with this endeavour. My email is southernriver74 at gmail dot com.

I read a news header about Barbara Yung's grave in one Singapore Chinese newspapers. It seems that her UK grave is to be turned into a car garage?

I read from IP's blog that there is confirmation about transferring Barbara's tombstone back to HK. Is it done?

    Thanks.
