Didn't realise that she died so young and in her heights of her career. What a shame. Howevever I do think, no matter how bad or depressed she feels, it's her decision to kill herself (allegedly) in the end and can't blame anyone else for her action.
I'm sure she left a lot of friends/relatives feeling bad as a result of her death

I think it's rather unreasonable to criticize people for committing suicide, especially if you never knew the person. Clearly, if she wanted to commit suicide, she was most likely depressed in some way, and that means someone, either friends or family, weren't looking out for her, or didn't give her the help she needed. The point is, her death is something that should be mourned and considered unfortunate, not criticized.

Plus she died of gas inhalation, and no one can confirm she committed suicide - apparently in interviews she sounded quite optimistic about her future. Personally, if I were committing suicide (not that I plan on doing something like that any time in the future), I wouldn't kill myself by breathing in toxic gases - there are easier methods, such as pills, nowadays.

I don't think that she committed suicide because if she would committed suicide then she should drink pills it will be easier, right.

Yeah, she definitely wasn't perfect. Like her teeth (although they are so cute). She's my fave Huang Rong though, and I think she was meant for the role lol. I think she's pretty, esp. considering she was an 80s actress. Not many 80s actresses meet my standards (which are rather 21st century based) for beauty.

I actually don't mind her height at all - she's one of the actresses that doesn't make me feel bad for being only 160 cm.

Dvd is better than vcd and vietnam use vcd and we use dvd.

vcd versions are often heavily edited. I remember when I had the vcd version of ROCH it was heavily edited and when I bought the dvd version many scenes that were cut out in the vcd version were in the dvd version. I know that the vcd version of CLH had many scenes cut out. I was pretty upset when I found out since I so anticipated the serie. I don't even know if TVB will ever release dvd version of CLH 84 or not, I can only hope for it.

Yeah, it's very sad that Barbara died so young. I started watching her series ever since I was like six or seven...like LOCH and The New Adventures of Chor Lau Heung...just loved her in the series...my mother told me she passed away and I was like so shocked....!!!!!!! I couldn't believe my ears and thought she was only kidding...but not...i always wondered where she would be at right now if she was still alive....except for her relatively short height, i love her!!!!

Well not literally...I don't think...

He certainly wasn't the same after that, didn't take care of himself and gained alot of weight. I read that recently he lost quite a bit of weight, though.

there are a lot of actresses who actually are prettier than barbara. for example Idy Chan or Mimi Kung. of course, barbara has a cute face but if compared to others she is not pretty enough. that´s only my opinion though
