ZSF did have the idea of going against shaolin's martial arts idea so he won't be accused of stealing shaolin martial arts. he also took idea's from nature since he only knew about 22 moves. the shaolin 18 arhats boxing and four moves from yang guo's sad palms. most other schools would teach a few moves and then teach inner power cultivation methods. wudang started with inner power first, then moves.
