Alec Su vs. Jimmy Lin

Jimmy is 172 cm. Don't know about alec.

Alec is 174 cm and Jimmy is 173 according to Wiki, so Alec is taller per se, but really, they're basically the same height. I guess it is considered short nowadays with taller models being actors and everything but I don't think it matters too much since they make sure they're taller than the girl they play opposite of. I love tall guys, but Jimmy's still awesome in my books.

172 is pretty damn short for a guy. Lots of tall girls are around 170 and they can't even wear heels around him without towering over. A guy should at least be around 175.

I don't think that is short for a guy at all. I think that is a good height. I guess part of the reason that I think that way is that most of the guys that I interact with are pretty short. However, I still think 172 is a good height. Also, WHY do people have these threads for?? I think they are pointless because if you are a fan of one or the other, then you would obviously pick the one that you like.... I pick Jimmy since he is one of my forever favorites of all time, but I like ALec as well...

How come no one voted for 'neither'? There was a time when I liked Jimmy, but his acting really really annoys me. How can he show no improvement after so long? Same w/ his singing--actually I think his singing is declining. He should just go back to doing business and racing, where he actually has talent. Or modeling.

Jimmy Lin no doubt jimmy lin can sing, act and is a professional race car driver. He is soo much more talented. Not not mention soo much cuter.

When you say pro like nascar pro or F1 pro? If nascar it better for those who live in US cause we can afforf to see that but as for F1 too expensive to fly now day let alone ticket and hotels.

jimmy is not pro F1 or nascar. F1 is the highest level in racing with the fastest speed and the most sophisticated technology. Most F1 racers r european. there r only 2 asians in the F1 rank. both r japanese on the Honda F1 team. It's not that easy to move into the F1 rank. There r no chinese racers in F1 as of 2008. Considering jimmy's age i don't think he'll ever make it in his racing career. Michael Shumacher, the most renowed F1 racer in the history of F1 and jimmy's idol retired in 2006 at the age of 37 after winning 7 F1 titles in his career.

Jimmy races in the F3 series. he is a pro chinese rally racer. He raced professionally for the GT Radial Tire Rally Team in 2004 and the HongHe Rally Team in 2005. In 2006 he formed his own Jimmy Lin Rally Team and raced for his own team. In 2007 he raced for the Mitsubishi Man Yu Rally Team. He now races for his own Ping Zuo Racing team. He has returned to showbiz this yr and has participated in only 2 formula races this yr.

When you look at his racing pics u can tell what yr it was by the team logo on his racing suits. Hope this clear things up.

my vote goes 2 jimmy, of course... don't know much about his singing, only heard a couple of his songs, but i think they are pretty good... his voice is nice, if not extraordinary...like his acting, especially the humorous part because he did funny scenes well... maybe, because he is a funny person so he can portray that effortlessly... his sad scenes are improving, and overall i think his acting is better than alec, because IMO and no offense to any alec's fans, alec's acting is a bit dull and left no impression after that... both are excellent in term of money making, but i've always liked daredevil guys, so being a pro racer earned jimmy another point from me...hehehe...

I can sit through Alec's acting, but unfortunately I can't say the same for Jimmy.
