CanDEE, where do you find Japanese series? I noticed that Japanese series are not in the mainstream like K-series.

Yeah, I'm not CanDEE but you can try mysoju.
They have a list of J-drama with English subs.

Japanese series that i ever see is :
    - Tai No Uta ---> hate the ending through!
    - H2 ---> the ending can be accepted
    - Dream Again ---> the ending was weird, but nice
    - Hana yori Dango 1 & 2 ---> the ending, LOVE it

i don't want to search every post, so what series that u thinks was good to watch ? and the ending was nice too!

Here's some dramas that's on my approval list (others I've yet to see, so I don't list them yet):

Hana Yori Dango (J-Drama) I and II
    Liar Game ( >Kurosagi)
    Glass Mask I
    Glass Mask II
    Remote
    Hanayome no Papa
    Iryu Team Medical Dragon
    Hana Kimi
    Iguana no Musume
    My Boss, My Hero
    Mukodono!
Nodame Cantabile (I got that under my anime list, but I guess the j-dorama is worth mentioning as well)

Nodame Cantabile is a great series. I came across it last week and finished watching all 11 episodes and the 4-hour special in less than 3 days. Once you start watching, you just can't stop.

I'm also watching Honey and Clover but the subs are taking a while to come out.

Yeah, it's only 2 episodes so far. I'll wait till it's complete.

Taiwan is going to make a remake of this series (starring Joe Cheng). I bet Suet will be very interested

I don't really understand Honey and Clover. For the anime, I really like that weird guy that likes the girl's small feet and works all the time and returns suddenly with a big wad of cash.

What I meant to say is that you'll be interested since it's starring Joe Cheng. It's him in your last 2 avatars, right?

Yes, however, I just don't get what's the fuss over Honey and Clover. The slice of life-plotline is just so out of there, I get bored of it.

You must be his fan too, otherwise, you wouldn't recognize him from this angle while holding a pillow.

I don't know... Taiwan just likes to make TV series based on manga. I have to find time to watch all Japanese and Taiwanese manga-based dramas and compare the two.

I'm kind of watching Yukan Club---on and off. Debating whether I should continue or not...?

I watched Yama Taro Monogatari and skipped some. Really got sick of all that talk of Taro sacrificing himself for the sake of his family. I get it, just don't keep it as the main storyline all the time.

Just finished Hanayome To Papa, I like it!

Now watching Nodame Cantabile Live Action Shinshun Special in Europe.

:P I got no new interesting drama after galileo so I re-watched Kurosagi and Nobuta wo Produce.
    Spring Summer Autumn Winter.
    Pair ducks nest fly together.
Clemencies. Summer life, feather winter white.
Green meadow in spring, before the autumn bite.
    Watching the red gown.
    And none else, alone.

I need to watch that soon. I've been looking forward to it forever.

Currently watching Shiroi Kage, Mukodono 2003, and SP

Nakai Masahiro sure has a knack for angsty roles.

Mukodono 2003 is nowhere as good as Mukodono!, but it's not terrible either. Hopefully I'll be able to get through all the episodes.

SP is very different from most dramas and its episodes are also quite a bit shorter than those of other shows. I'm most curious about Inoue's past and why he hates the PM so much.

Watching the old Tokusatsu Guyferd and Kamen Rider Kiva as it's airing and being subbed.
