I heard that the female lead in the honey and clover drama wasn't very convincing...I actually feel the same way too...

I'm currently watching Last Friends and Zettai Kareshi.
I find that Last Friends is very very good and different. I would recommend everyone to watch it.
Solitary trees, if they grow at all, grow strong.
Currently it's not a japanese tv series that I'm watching it's more a variety show. It's called Gakkoe e Ikou!MAX. V6 members (jpop singers) are like the ground reporter for this show. Maybe I shouldn't post it here, he,he,he.. but just like to share.
I got HnC series at home, but because even the first episode already start different from the anime, I feel turn off. Maybe when I'm running out of option I will watch it, but than, it has Takeshi Kashiwabara there, that's sound enticing for me.. we'll see.
I'm planning to watch Last Friends and Zettai Kareshi as well, but I think I might wait until I got all the episodes before I start watch it. I hate cliffhanger.
Spring Summer Autumn Winter.
Pair ducks nest fly together.
Clemencies. Summer life, feather winter white.
Green meadow in spring, before the autumn bite.
Watching the red gown.
And none else, alone.
I'm currently watching Around 40, Last Friends, and Koshonin. Last Friends looks to be one of the best dramas of this season. I can't wait for the next episode!

Just finished watching Honey and Clover, thought the drama was really nice. As usual good looking guys caught my attention.
I too am watching Zettai Kareshi and Last Friends. Last Friends is my current favorite jdrama. Can't believe there is no special thread for it. I guess it's not as popular here as with other forumers. Just love Ueno Juri there, such an amazing and versatile actress![]()
be happy
I just started on Hotaru no Hikari and I love the interaction between the two main stars Hotaru and Seiichi. They're so funny together.![]()
I just love how you Captivate My Mind

Yes, I wonder that too. I mean Makoto is handsome and a fairly good singer in real life. But it seems Makoto is such a shy guy, I mean he likes her but, gets discourage and give up too easily. It's more like he's afraid of facing her rejection and that she might have a BF-to back out that way seem kind of wussy and selfish (only thinking of himself), I wouldn't like a guy like that.
Hotaru is so cute, she's so spunky and loveable. The Busho can't help but care for her, despite the nth times that her lifestyle clashes with his. Haha...I hope they pair up. I like them together.
The Udon making and the rolling on the ground scenes were so cute.

I finished Gokusen I and started watching Gokusen II up to episode 8 and it seems there's just a lot of repeating of the first drama.
Eh...I mean I'm beginning to feel like I've watched too much of Gokusen because the pattern keeps repeating. Yankimi's students get in trouble, the high uppers of the school keeps trying to expell the class for whatever reason they can think of, Yankimi comes to the rescue whenever they get beat up or get in trouble, she comes and takes her glasses and loosen her hair and beats or gets hit once, then there's the parent-son problem, then Yankimi has crush on a cop/teacher, then repeat again.
On top of that she's always trying to hide her yazuka family background from people.
I think they should've stopped with Part I and quit with part 2 and 3. There's nothing new except for some of what happened in part 1 is repeated and retold differently.

Yeah, season 2 is basically a repeat of season 1 with slight changes. I watched both already and wasn't planning on watching season 3 but since there's a possible movie that's focused on season 3 and has possible cameo guest appearances from some of the people from seasons 1 and 2, i think i might give it a go. Then i'll be totally done with the Gokusen stuff. I hope that Gokusen 3 is it though. Good grief.
I start watching Taiyou no Kisetsu and the japanese version of My sassy girl (forget the name ^^")
すごい!
whoa!!!!
what's a beautiful drama, i hope that you are doing great to perform well in this drama....so for that, I am grateful...cos I'm keen in dramas especially writing scripts....
see your next drama to be good....![]()
I'm watching Osen at the moment and liking it. I like cooking drama theme..
Taiyou no Kisetsu is with Tackey isn't it? I quite like that drama, unusual story line, especially when we expect Tackey to be the main character here.
Spring Summer Autumn Winter.

Clemencies. Summer life, feather winter white.
Green meadow in spring, before the autumn bite.
Watching the red gown.

cat's eyes - episode 1
nodame - episode 6
We must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it - but we must sail, and not drift, nor live at anchor (Oliver Wendell Holmes)
I watched Koizora recently after hearing all the hype. Not bad..decent acting and I can see why girls are going after Haruma Mimura now among the up-coming generation of Jap actors. There is a an intense feel about this guy I feel and he has decent acting chops.

Watching all of the series subbed by subpig (as usual)
My fave is probably Puzzle, 81 diver is a guilty pleasure. Change is growing on me though
A lot of decent / good series this season. In terms of j-drama overall, nothing is really a must see. In terms of casting, Change is a good series and it has Kimutaku. But I'm a little depressed in that older audience oriented dramas are growing...
hey same with me too! I'm watching ZK and Last friends atm---> highly recommended for everyone! It's a serious drama, more realistic and superb acting from the casts, especially Ueno Juri and Eita. *i can't wait to see the ending, although i fear of the worst really*
I'm watching Osen and Change
