not a fan of reading captions so i'm currently watching "Absolute Boyfriend" that was dubbed into Cantonese.

    SO IN LOVE!

I like the young executive a lot. I think he was in this other Italian cooking drama and I loved him there already. hehe.

Oh and the young executive brother was in this detective series that was also dubbed in cantonese, loved that one too.

Actually I pretty much love all jap series.

Finished watching Hotaru no Hikari. with fast forward in some boring scenes. I only want to know the ending without jumping straight to the last episode I kinda lost the purpose of the story, and I still don't like Ayase or Naohito hehehehehee...

I saw Sukoshi Wa, Ongaeshi Ga Dekitakana too, and as expected, Nino delivered a good acting skills. His 3rd dorama SP aired last Friday I think, looking at the caps, I sort of seeing the same face he made for Marathon, but I still have high hopes with the story and acting. oh, I cried alot with both SP, so I'm expecting the same for the 3rd one  ... I think last weekend I'm just in the mood of sappy sad story.

on the side note, I watch Okuribito it's not a dorama, it's a movie. It's a good one. hehehehheee.. it won Oscar 2008 for the Best Foreign Language Film of the Year. sorry a litte OOT.
    Spring Summer Autumn Winter.
    Pair ducks nest fly together.
Clemencies. Summer life, feather winter white.
Green meadow in spring, before the autumn bite.
    Watching the red gown.
    And none else, alone.

I watched that recently too. It's a simple yet meaningful film with some surprising doses of humor considering its theme. Ah, and oh yes, very lovely music.

I finished watching Triangle, Voice, and Kiina. I'm not sure the payoff at the end of Triangle was worth the overload of red herrings throughout the drama. Overall, a waste of the cast and memorable soundtrack. I started to like Voice more as the series progressed; the cases got better and the group members had strong chemistry. I enjoyed Kiina. It's got its quirks and is like a mix of Galileo and Voice. I almost didn't recognize Sawamura Ikki at first since he's usually more clean-cut and chipper.

I'm currently on episode 13 of Shinsengumi and have started on Himitsu no Hanazono and Nanase Futatabi (latest one).

When I first started watching Kiina, I thought he looked a lot like that actor in Ame to Yume no Ato ni and Hataraki Man. Yes, he does look different than usual.

I've seen Himitsu no Hanazono and I guess I didn't enjoy it as much becaused I skipped some episodes to watch the final episode. The brothers' apartment is very nice looking if I remember right.

I also watched Nanase Futabi a few months ago. Just a word of warning: The acting wasn't so great and the ending came abrupt with so many ________.

The actor which you're talking about in Absolute Boyfriend is Mizushima Hiro. The Italian cooking drama...you probably mean Bambino and that starrs a different actor who is not Hiro and his name is Matsumoto Jun. Two different actors.

Anyway, I'm watching ep 9-10 to finish off Mei-chan no Shitsuji. The heroine wasn't quite likeable...it took her to long to be resolute about what she wants and so, Shiori was able to threaten her so many times. The thing about butlers and the school...well it maybe fine in mangas, but when it translate out to a live drama...it just seem not so realistic.

Just two episodes to finish off this drama which I am not sure why I am watching...maybe I just needed to see how it finishes and whether or not Mei finally grows a backbone.

I like Love Shuffle a lot. The chemistry between the actors (the guys) are great and the actors and actresses are good too. At first the whole idea of switching BF and GFs each week seem kind of riskay and weird...but they actually learn something from each other. They then take what they learn and become stronger and change how they are and how they think. It's interesting. Good casting too. I'm still waiting for the remaining episodes to watch. I like the guys, they make me laugh a lot.

Yep. I'm only watching it for Sakai Masato, though.

I don't know, I kinda liked the spark Toma had with an older woman (Yada Akiko's character).

I watch it raw. Understand some Japanese and the rest I get it through their
acting body movements..you get the idea. This drama is not so difficult to
follow raw since its not dialogue throughout or like a medical drama like Code Blue
    so quite ok.

thanks, but I don't like watching it with streaming. I prefer to have a copy and re-watch it when I feel like it.

I end up watching the first episodes of Love Shuffle. The idea of the story is not my cuppa tea, but after episode one, I have to admit it's more that what it is. Human's effort to find their happiness is really shown here. Or maybe I read it too much between the line? No idea, I don't know if I can continue watching it as the story develop.

I also seen the first episode of Namida wo fuite with chibi Nino and Aya Ueto, I don't like Eguchi Yosuke (a bit overacting for me) but, I want to see more Nino .. biased heh?

I really had mix feelings about this drama and began to wonder if I'm just watching it for the actors or is there something more to the drama. Quirky as it is, I think somehow I've come to like it as the drama story progressed. There's certain twists...you'd think you know but in the end you're surprised. It has a sudden charm to it.

I've just finished Ace wo Nerae, and I really liked it! It shows us the difficulties that tennis players go through to achieve their dreams...

Kashiwabara Shuji, the actor that plays the photographer, Chiba, is HOT!!! Too bad he only had a supporting role in the show.
He looked even better in the special with his short hair. I googled him and found out he is the brother of Kashiwabara Takeshi.

I'm currently watching Mei-Chan no Shitsuji, and the first episode is promising...

Meichan is not bad..its very fairytale and manga-like but not very realistic lol....I think the main actor hiro became very popular because of this drama and I can understand why..he has a certain charm in the drama..and I like his voice...very nice quality to it.

Hiro has been married to ayaka since Feb 22nd. They just decided to hold a press conference to make the official announcement. ayaka also has Graves' Disease and her symptoms are getting worse. That's probably a big reason for the marriage since Hiro says he wants to support and protect ayaka. ayaka's music career will also be put on hold.

Anyway, to make this not be too off-topic, i'm looking forward to watching Hiro's next drama, Mr. Brain.
