What Japanese Series Are You Watching?

Recently started watching Binbo Danshi.

I don't like Bull Doctor too, for is more because of the acting. This season I only like Zenkai Girl so far. I don't mind Nishikido and Gakki's chemistry. I don't normally like Gakki, but for her acting has improved in this series.

For me, it's more because of the story. Not that the acting is anything to write home about either. If you enjoyed Voice, you might like this show.

Yes, JIN need to be watch in order, it makes more sense and add up to the suspense (in a way).

Can I suggest an anime? Borrower Arrietty will be a good start, Ghibli details just awesome. I'm looking forward to see their latest work, Kokurikozaka Kara, just release in the cinema last week.

As for drama, hm, maybe Marumo no Okite will be good.

Recent movie I saw is Gantz (jap subs, not eng-dub) and The Chef of South Pole with Sakai Masato.

I'm a bit hesitant with this drama, because I so loved the anime and the manga. And I can't imagine Yamamoto what's his name as Suoh Tamaki and not sure about the other casts either.

I never watched the anime nor read the manga so i don't really know how the drama compares but i actually really like Yamamoto Yusuke as Tamaki. He's really entertaining and funny to watch. I think some people mentioned that they're surprised that his actions/acting are similar to that of the anime character.

I just start on Dr. Koto's Clinic up to ep 4 and really liking it. I always like an island-type of series/movies like Ruri no Shima, Waiting for Happiness (movie).

finished Dr Koto's Clinic 2003, SP and 2006. Love all of them, the story, the cast and the scenery. Also finished Freeter, Ie wo Kao and liking the theme of the story. Sort of running of old drama that I haven't watch at the moment, maybe I will watch Marks no Yama

finished Marks no Yama last night and thanks to jade_frost ^.^

I like the realistic part of the drama, like when they climb the mountain and Goda's underling can't keep up because he's not a mountaineer. Also I like that it's only 5 episodes no fuss no unnecessary plot.

I'm a question though about the story. What happen with the Public Persecutor Chief, seems he get away is he?

I finally watched Bull Doctor it's really like Voice. Also finished Bartender and quite impress with Aiba as Sasakura Ryo. The bartending acting is abit stiff but looking Aiba less like his normal self is quite good. He's good looking if he doesn't talk too much I reckon hahahahaa.. So now continue with My Girl.

I'm looking forward for this season dramas. Nankyoku Tairiku looks promising, Kaseifu no Mita is good! already saw episode 1. Also looking forward to Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu and I hope Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de will be as good as the hype.
