I read that the ratings for Haikei were not too good....I wonder why..its an endearing drama...better than proposal in my opinion.

Never thought I would like Yamapi. The story is good....and since it's not a manga adaptation... you don't know the story and get the same roller coaster felling with his character (at eps 9..... it's at the lowest point.....hiks....). Higly recommended.

I'm watching Aoi Tori, Toshiie and Matsu, and finishing up the dramas I followed from this season. I'm thinking of starting Suna no Utsuwa soon.

Has anyone seen Haruka 17? or another drama called Yoshitsune?
How about At Home Dad with Abe Hiroshi?

If you have, can you tell me if you like it or not?

well, I decided to watch At Home Dad with Abe Hiroshi.

Abe Hiroshi's pretty famous, huh? He's starred in so many dramas already. He's 43 but still somewhat good looking for his age. Looks like an interesting drama.

I just finished Hotelier with Aya Ueto. I don't really like her, but since I got the series handy I still watch it, turn out to be I like it. the plot and some details are the same with the Korean version, but they make it much more compact and simple. There's also little suprises here and there. I don't expect too much of it so I probably quite impressed because of that ... the male cast non is really eye candy, but the deliver good acting.

Yoshitsune is OK from the story perspective. I'm not a big fan of Tackey but I think he's tolerable in here. It also starred fanboy farorites Ueto Aya and Ishihara Satomi as the 2 love interests.
If you like Abe Hiroshi, I highly recommend 'Kekkon Dekinai Otoko', or KDO for short.

BTW, fyi 'jap' is a derogatory term (orginated I think in WW II by the Americans/British while fighting the Japanese) and it would be better nowadays to use the full word instead.

Why don't you start one for Proposal Daisakusen? I was looking for the thread but there is none for now. I didn't sleep at all last nite, watching from ep 1 to 11 LOL. My heart ached and it hurt so bad till the very end -BAKA. Yamapi is my fav. actor too, he's so damn good looking. can't get enough of his handsome face

No, I haven't seen it, but definitely want to!

I'm currently following a bunch of new series from this season, none of which have been that great. The first episode of Hotaru no Hikari was pretty enjoyable and funny, though. Naohito looks very handsome and it seems that he's gained some weight in muscle as he reveals in one short scene in which he takes off his shirt (incentive to watch? ). However, after only one episode, I already have serious doubts about whether or not Kato Kazuki can actually act. I thought he was Oshio Manabu at first.

I'm also watching three dark dramas: Suna no Utsuwa, Koori no Sekai, and Kono yo no Hate, all of which have been intriguing.

I'm watching Hanayome to Papa at the moment. the actor that do Miura Seiji's character is a let down, he's one of Kattun I heard But the father is a great actor, Satomi Ishihara is not too bad. She's cute. still watching. the story was predictable, but entertaining.

I'm watching First Kiss, Ushi ni Negai o and Hanakimi from this season. Quite ambivalent towards them all despite First Kiss having Matsuyuki Yasuko and Ito Hideaki.

I'm currently watching hana kimi. It's been pretty good so far, and I'm not making any comparisons with the taiwanese one.

The girl who acts as mizuki is doing a pretty decent job...
