Comments on ROCH 2006 Soundtrack?

Hi,

I have not seen the ROCH 2006 series. I saw that most of you guys like it. Question, is the soundtrack good? Also, what is the difference between the Taiwan version and China version (soundtrack wise)? There is a huge price difference on YesAsia.com.

Also, does anyone know where I can get the soundtrack for "No 1 Under the Sky"? I think the show originally aired in 2005 (in the US anyway). YesAsia does not have it anymore.

Er, do you mean ROCH 2006? LOCH 2006 is not out yet...
Personally, I think the soundtrack is pretty good. But I do not remember hearing most of the songs in the series...

No prob...when I was a newbie I made mistakes too (ex. making a thread that has been made a million times already...)...someone even answered "Newbies taste good cooked" or something like that...
The songs don't seem to be any different in the 2 versions...if you're going to buy, maybe just buy the cheaper version.
Or you can just download it.
But I can't wait for LOCH 2006! Have you heard of it?

Yes, I saw some threads about it on this forum. I love these shows, just don't have much time to watch them. Thanks for the info though.

as far as i know, there r 3 songs (excluding background music) in roch 2006. openeing theme wassung by jane zhang liang ying (from supergirls 2005, i like herso much) , the ending theme (by hxm, chou hua jien, etc)n one sub theme song played in some secenes...the songs are not realy those we normaly here, very much ancien-like imo but good

hm, i don't know about 'ancient.' I actually find the opening theme too modern for my liking. I prefer the type of soundtrack in LOCH/XAJH.

Hm, i don't like the idea of getting into debate over this, but i personally, still find it modern, not ancient. It's POP. When i think ancient, i think of the songs of LOCH, XAJH. It's less modern than the singapore ROCH theme though.

nah..not a debate, just opinionating...havent seen roch n xajh so i wont know

Oh, the LOCH themes were 100000000 times (okay, maybe not THAT much) better than the ROCH themes....but no, they made a ROCH soundtrack and not a LOCH soundtrack....sigh...
XAJH's themes were also nice, but not quite as nice as LOCH.
Its true that a lot of the ROCH tracks are kinda Pop....but some of them are still quite nice, like Shuang Fei by HXM and Ding Dang. I didn't hear the Harry Potter music, but I did hear the Ayumi Hamasaki...and I don't like the idea of them using Hollywood movie soundtracks...

I love the soundtrack to ROCH. I thought that the Opening song with the high voice was great and it matched the mood of some scenes. The ending credit song was good also, but it took me a bit longer to get use to it. Did HXM really take part in the ending song?

Yup, along with ZJZ (the director) and two others...

I finally got the soundtrack. I liked it. Most of the tracks were good except for one, which sounded like a bad heavy metal track. I don't know why they put that one on.
