I noticed there is a lot of repeat casting. Not that that's bad or anything...
Anyways, here's some that I noticed:

Gao Hu was in TLBB, ROCH and also Bi Xue Jian.... ZJZ was also in Bi Xue Jian as well. How come no one is mentioning Bi Xue Jian? I guess there weren't that many repeated stars in Bi Xue Jian.

I'm sure there's more since ZJZ adores reusing actors/actresses, but I'm short on time so I'll think of more later. There are a lot more repeats in TVB Jinyong series too (such as Idy Chan and Carman Lee).

I wish Xu Qing was younger so that she could do another Jin Yong adaption...I'm almost done XAJH 2001 (I'm on ep 39!) and she's REALLY good! I can hardly believe she was 29/30 when she filmed it...

Others i can think of:

Guo Liang as cant-remember-the-kter's-name-at-the-moment in Book and Sword'02 as well as Wanyan Honglie in LOCH07.

Zhang Guo Li as Cheng Kun in HSDS'03 and some role in LOCH'07.

Nah, there were many repeated actors in BXJ as well, but mainly supporting ones. The actress as Wen Yi (He Qing?) was also Bao Xiruo in LOCH'03. Yuan Chengzhi's teacher was Huang Yaoshi in ROCH'06. The Quanzhen priests, Yin Zhiping and the one who bullies YG in ROCH'06 also appeared in BXJ.

Oh, also Kong Lin was Huang Rong in ROCH and she was also in Ping Zong Xia Ying.

On a side note, i recently re-watched Zhang Yimou's "Raise the Red Lantern" and spotted kong Lin inside! She was really young way back then and her acting was good in that show, much better than in ROCH.

yes, she's the servant girl! i have to say, her acting in ROCH and PZXY was really stiff and horrible, but she was good in Raise the Red Lantern... hm... she's not getting better.

I actually think there are more than the ones listed in BXJ- almost every time i see a new supporting character, i say "hey, i know him/her..." only i can't remember where most of them are from
