    Default Anyone hate Bai Ling?

First, let me say that I despise William Hung for being a tool for Westerners to make a mockery of Asians, yet again.

His female counterpart is Bai Ling. However, unlike Hung, who at least appears to genuinely be unaware that he is a joke (which is very sad in its own right but that's another story), Bai goes out of her way to ***** herself out to draw attention to herself and help her non-existent film career. From lying about being in the Tiananmen Square protest, to claiming to be engaged to Nick Carter, to claiming that Lucas cut her out of Star Wars III for posing in Playboy, to intentionally exposing herself in public outings, etc., she is just a piece of trash.

There aren't too many influential Asian women in Hollywood and Bai Ling's notorious behaviors certainly do not represents Asian women in a positive light. I always cringed at the sight or the mention of her.

I don't 'hate' her, but do agree with everything said. The ironic thing, though, is that I do think she's quite talented as an actress. It's just her own bizarre, self-aggrandizing behavior that screws her over.

I have never heard about her... Meaning... either I'm really very ignorant... or she's really not that famous...

I have actually never seen her in any movies. Any examples?

I agree with what everyone says though... i don't even see her as an Asian anymore because she so does not represent us.

Bai ling appeared in a few movies and t.v shows.

examples: VH1's reality show "But Can They Sing?"- i think she came in 3rd

She had a very very minor role in Star Wars as a senator (which was later edited out of the film)

She was on the latest episode of LOST (I think she played a prostitute in his flashbacks).

I never really liked her acting and I don't think she's that pretty either. Her actions have just made her even more unpopular. (I can't believe she was named one of the World's most beautiful people by People mag. in 1998). There are alot of other actresses that could better represent Asians to Western audiences.

i think she started out as a serious actress, and expected fame to come quickly which it didn't. now she's basically a publicity wh0re. is she color blind or something? and she always portrays herself as this big victim of communist china. that they repressed her freedom of expression and blah blah. dude, i wish i could repress it, too.

as for talent? i'll admit she can act. she was also in the three sequel and an episode of angel, amongst other things....let me imdb her...

For all the Buddhists people out there, did you know she was part of one of the sorriest JTTW movie adaptations ever? Bai Ling played Guan Yin. The guy who plays the role of the monk is a "white guy". Guan Yin falls in love with him. Yes, she falls in love with him. Keep in mind, she is already Guan Yin. It was not as though this was her life on Earth before she became Guan Yin. She even kissed the guy in the movie. She was forced to withdraw from the relationship, not even on her own will. Then they told each other, next life, they will be together? I am not Buddhist, but is that possible?

I don't even know that much about Buddhism and that just sounds stupid... what does JTTW stand for?
I thought once she became Guan Yin she stopped becoming reincarnated?

Oh yes, that miniseries was a travesty. The entire Journey to the West story was butchered. Bai Ling became a low cut top wearing Guanyin who had the hots for (what a surprise) a whiteboy, just like the whorish character she played in Lost.

I had forgotten she even existed except some idiot casted her yet again.

Last night on Lost, the main character Jack, played by Matthew Fox, is vacationing on some beach in Thailand, trying to assemble a kite. Then out of nowhere comes this hideous looking chick with breast implants and a "I am a *****, put it right here" top, who throws herself at him and helps him with his kite. Then at night, she goes into his bedroom and gives him sex. Then it turns out she is not a ***** who throws herself at whiteboys, she is a tattoo artist who happens to ***** herself out to whiteboys. Jack rips off his shirt and forces her to tattoo some random words on him for some reason, then the next day, her brother and some goons beats him up on the beach for no reason except he's an outsider and I guess outsiders can't get tattoos in Asia.

Makes sense? No? Well, Lost is not supposed to make any sense.

Well, it was not that bad, lol. But a kiss I think is terrible enough. Imagine some Asian director creating a "Greatest Story Ever Told" and made Jesus Christ fall in love with an Asian girl. And then he kissed her. And then he was forced to break off the relationship because he was made so, and not because he wanted to!!!

Seriously, what is wrong with her? Does she have a history of doing drugs? She can look elegant when she chooses.

For example, this dress makes her look very classy and elegent.
