That poster is indeed awesome. I think that costume is one of my all-time favorite ancient costume of Yi Fei. Btw, I heard on Dec 11, LYF, FSF, YM, HXM, and a bunch of other stars will be attending an event together. I really hope that Yi fei will appear with FSF or HXM. It'll also be nice to see her with YM.

Anyways, I just finished watching "White Vengeance" (how did you watch it so early--the one I saw just now was only uploaded 2 days ago??) and I can see how you're disappointed by LYF's screentime...although, she herself said that she was just "soy sauce" (i.e. doing a cameo) in this movie (I think she was just being modest though because her appearance was definitely more than a cameo, though less than what the movie people promoted it as). I guess this movie is more about Xiang Yu vs. Liu Bang and therefore the love story took a back seat, but LYF did a good job with what she had. I thought the chemistry between FSF/LYF was decent considering there was pretty much no buildup to their relationship (but seriously they shouldn't have bothered with their initial meeting scene if that was all the buildup they were going to do, because I was cringing at how ridiculous that scene was..."oh hey you're from Chu!" "oh hey you're from Chu too! I'll just humiliate myself to save you then..." "Oh are you in love with me? Want to be my wife?" "Sure, awesome!!!" )

At first I was mad that they cut the scene where Yu Ji runs up the steps in her reunion with Xiang Yu and he swings her around (especially since in the BTS apparently they said they made LYF redo that scene so many times so she had to keep running up and down the stairs in her heavy skirts), but then they added it in at the end which was nice (albeit ummm, super cheesy...they even borrowed the whole floating flower petals straight out of Yu Zheng's book ).

I heard they cut out a lot of Yu Ji/Liu Bang scenes--personally I'm glad because I was really not looking forward to that love triangle between XY/YJ/LB so that change was for the best IMO... Anyways, overall I thought LYF did a good job...her eyes definitely have more feeling in them than before. The Yu Ji character and "farewell my concubine" scene were pretty bland and not very memorable (I was especially disappointed by the "ba wang bie ji" scene since it's the penultimate Xiang Yu/Yu Ji scene but I was kinda prepared for it so oh well), but that's probably more due to the script, I don't think it's LYF's fault since Yu Ji was pretty much a flower vase in here. She did look very gorgeous onscreen--when the stills first came out I didn't think the makeup/styling brought out her looks the best, but the lighting etc in the actual movie made the overall effect quite lovely.

Oh lol I guess I was too anxious to watch it so I did my awesome searching and finally I found the video after two days the movie released. It's written as "HMY" on youtube. Hmm, I'm glad that you liked yi fei's acting in there. Although she was a flower vase, I couldn't blame her for that because her character was just poorly developed. and yes, because I don't understand the language, I was confused about the movie when they featured a flashback of 2 yrs ago when Yuji and Xiang Yu met. Then suddenly they met again and they were in bed together so I'm like O.O already? haha Also, the liu bang-yuji underlying love line was just plain dumb/unnecessary. I'd rather they had spent more time on developing a more proper Yuji-Xiang Yu love story. Hate the romance in that movie overall.

You're right about the Ba Wang Bie Ji being unmemorable and stuff. But yeah I was expecting it too. Oh well haha can't complain too much anymore since I'd already done a whole ranting post before. I'd rather to watch this scene instead.

Oh and btw, thankyou for the subs you posted on your channel. Although Feng Shao Feng only said a couple things about Yi fei, but I'm really happy to hear that she gives him a feeling of warmth. I also read an article about he saying that she's a "goddess"? am I right? Hopefully though because that would make my day.

You're welcome. And yup, he did say that because she is the only female character in the movie, she gives off a feeling of a "nu shen " i.e. goddess.

Actually I don't think the second scene was cut. I definitely remember a scene of Xiang Yu gazing outside with Yu Ji leaning on his shoulder--however it was only like 1 second long and from a back/side angle...so it seemed different from the stills that were released.

Thanks--actually I never saw that vid--I saw lots of stills/pics from it but not the commercial itself! It's weird how LYF's makeup/styling in her ads/promos are way better than in her movies! (At least IMO...)

There are literally only 2 more projs to be looking forward to right now: The Four and Tong Que Tai. Too bad The Four doesn't seem like a big production or anything considering the amount of promotion they have so far. On the other hand, TQT is a huge production but she'll be acting alongside with many seniors whom I am not too fond of. How I wish she could have paired up with Alec Su instead.
