You know that her stepfather is that rich lawyer. And how on earth but with money does a girl graduate university just some years after graduate from Primary school.
You can prove it by yourself.
She was born in 1987.
After priary school she went to the US for 3 years.
And suddenly she graduated from university.
How did she do that and don't tell because of her Intelligence.

I'm talking about the new movie. Are you 100% sure that she bought that role?

I thought she was attending school at Stanford as a guest? I wonder where she finds the time to act??Or is this whole thing about going to school in the US just an attempt to make herself look good?? I honestly don't know about this movie..... The cast does not look or sound too good right now.. I honestly don't think LYF has that much talent... She is really lucky though.. BUt I kind of doubt that she will ever reach Gong Li, Zhang Zi Yi or Michelle Yeoh's level though...

Regarding her looks, I don't think she is ugly or anything like that. She is pretty, but her looks are nothing special if you compare her the actresses of today. I think she looks good in ancient attire, but it is not like she is the ONLY one who does. I think a lot actresses around her age look as good if not better than her in ancient attire and in real life. For example, Hu Jing, Shu CHang, Sun Fei Fei and many more look great in ancient attire and real life... I don't think they are anything inferior to her in looks or talent. She just has the financial support from her family, the connections and luck as well..

I am wandering whether you have any facts to support your statement actually. If she really graduated from a university at such a young age, I think she is already a genius already. Actually, which university did she graduated from? I just heard that she left the high school in US to attend the beijing acting school (i am not sure about this) in China then her career started from there.

It's a known fact that she graduated from Beijing Film Academy (is it an university? I think it is since Vicki Zhao can do a Masters right? And you can't do a Masters w/o a undergrad), which is ridiciulous given her educational background..so yeah it's not baseless.

Young Chinese actress Liu Yifei has signed with William Morris Agency, one of the three top American agencies, becoming the second Chinese actress in this company.

Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi had signed with the agency in 2005 and soon obtained a lead role in the movie “The Memoir of a Geisha”.

Other big names like Julia Roberts, Mel Gibson are also lineup of the company.

Nanjing Daily reported on Thursday that the first big present the agency gave Liu Yifei was a lead role in the movie "The Forbidden Kingdom", which co-starred by Jackie Chan and Jet Li.

Reports say the agency thinks that Liu Yifei has an outstanding appearance and acting which represents as the traditional Chinese beauty, as well as has great potential to be an international star.
