I personally can't see how they can make an entire series out of Chinese Paladin 2. What in the world will it be about?
It's totally possible that it will flop, so I don't blame LYF at all if she passed up the role.

In the story, there are 4 or 5 parts. I think you don't know about it, do you? Perhaps part 2 will tell about Zhao Ling Er's daughter. I don't remember her name.

if it's going to be about the daughter (i do know about her, li yi ru) then it'd be extremely weird for LYF to play ling'er. i mean she'd be the same age as the daughter, unless she doesn't age or something.

Highly doubt LYF will do a mediocre series like Chinese Paladin 2. She's one of the big guys now at Hollywood. Heard she's doing the trilogy for "Forbidden Kingdom"

Right! she's acting in the forbidden kingdom with Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Li Bing Bing. She plays the part of Golden Sparrow. Jackie Chan said that Fei would be one of the Asian stars in Hollywood because she has beauty, good acting, multi lingue capability,and she is very modest.

All it takes is good marketting to be honest. Her acting hasn't impressed me yet but I hope she can in The Forbidden Kingdom.
But she has a good chance to make it big in the Hills, because it seems Hollywood has taken a liking in Asian actors and actresses lately (I believe it's because of the growing Chinese economy/market).

I'm not all too certain about how Forbidden Kingdom will turn out to American audiences though. It might just be a corny Chinese movie, like Kungfu Hustle or something. I mean they're obviously not the same, but people have certain attitudes towards these kinds of movies. And, not gonna lie, the storyline sounds kind of weird.

It's quite obvious Liu Tao sing tons better than lyf lyf seems abit off-tuned and her voice and the music don't seem to merge well.Her high notes are unstable as well,

i am shocked at liu tao.. she was pretty decent. SHe hits her notes well.. and really LYF couldn't hit any of the high note. I notice she was just hiding behind Liu Tao... (notice how she just keeps looking at liu tao to move her lips THEN she starts to sing to hide her voice)

God, clips like this make me find LYF even more unappealing. There's something her mannerism that really irks me...she's so freaking haughty and proud of herself and it has nothing to do with self-confidence.

I've only heard one recorded Liu Tao song "ai shang ni" (clearly she didn't get the contract deal) and i thought her voice was very clear and quite nice, but i thought she probably wouldn't sound nice live. Surprisingly, she sounds almost the same in her recording and live.

Liu Yi Fei doesn't sound so bad. I think she did this better than eyes on me etc. Although it's evident that she can't sing the high notes. Liu Tao has a very classic voice, also because of the way she pronounces the words.

wowww listening to that was actually painful. liu tao was very good but when it came to LYF it was like... she wasn't even singing.

also, did you guys look at the comments? i'm surprised people aren't exclaiming at how bad LYF is.

As for liu yi fei...I thought she was ok, she didn't get any voice training then right? Liu Tao probably had more experience but yeh I really like her voice in there very classic like every said and suitable for the song. <3 Liu Tao...not much to comment on Yi fei but I wonder why she blocking Liu Tao? looks weird....
