Yup. It's official. Crystal will be the guest of honor at jimmy's concert. It's in the news and we all heard about it months ago in this forum.

Jimmy Lin said that filming Tian Long Ba Bu was an unforgetable experience. Thru this series he became very good friend with Crystal Liu. When the concert was still in the planning stage Jimmy immediately thought of Crystal. Besides acting in the past 2 yrs she has also launched her singing career. In her own words she said that she likes singing more. The albums she released have good results too. As expected, Crystal immediately accepted the offer after it came from Jimmy. Without a doubt, they are indeed very good friends.

Crystal will sing a song and will do a duet with Jimmy. The organizer will not disclose which song. We dont even know what her entrance will be like.

More than one Hundred Hong Kong artistes and directors were invited to Beijing by China Star's boss, HK film producer and presenter Charles Heung in a chartered flight for the a gala celebrating the opening of the Beijing apartments of which he and his wife are major investors on September 25, 2008.
Also invited are prominent Chinese artistes Gong Li, Liu Yifei, HXM etc.
Director Zhang Yimou was invited but was unable to come since he is presented at the Shenzhou VII rocket launch and sent his greetings in a specially delivered DVD.
A number of Hong Kong celebrities made a special effort to attend e.g. Louis Koo who rushed back from Malaysia but a few were unable to made e.g. Cecilia Cheung.

Confirmed - Liu Yifei to be the guest singer in Jimmy Lin's concert

Wan Mei just confirmed the following an hour ago at Crystallized!

"Hu Ge did speak out about that in his recent Hunan show when he is pressed to talk about the females he worked with - he said Yifei is a "good friend" and he "respect her".

Back to topic, since liuyifei.org cannot post any news for the past few days, for the moment Crystallized is the most to update site for Yifei news So this is another scoop:

I am pleased to say that the organizers of the Jimmy Lin concert has confirmed that Yifei will be the guest singer in Jimmy's concert. Yifei is in fact Jimmy's first choice.
She will be singing her own songs in addition to a duet with Jimmy Lin
