Plot Summary: It is 14th century Yuan Dynasty China, the country is under Mongolian rule and the star-crossed lovers, Jinha (Shin Hyun-june) and Sullie (Kim Hee-sun), illegitimate daughter of a Mongolian commander, are caught in the middle. When her mother died, SullieÕs father, Taruga, took her away and later planned to marry her off to form an alliance with a powerful Chinese warlord. Things get worse when Jinha learns that Taruga was the person who ordered the massacre of his entire family. Fuelled by hatred, he masters his family secret martial arts, the Bichun Secret Art. Many top pugilists, who are also after the secret scroll, try to kill him. During one of such attempts, Junkwang, a rich and powerful son of a Han lord, helps Jinha. I just saw a fanmade mv and it is so moving and tragic, made me want to see the movie. I guess this movie isn't for everyone since theres mixed reviews some think its great and to some it sucks because its confusing. Anyone here seen this movie?

I'm sorry but I really disliked this movie!!!
I didn't like the story, there was no chemistry between actors and the fight scenes were strange. "Shadowless sword" is a much ,much better show....in my opinion.

It aired in China from 2005~2006 and I believe it flopped. It was never aired in Korea because the TV networks considered it to be too Chinese. But if you want to understand the plot of this epic, then do watch this TV series, as it feels "bigger" than the movie and follows the arc of original manga in its entirety.

An interesting update. Bichunmoo is in re-editing and dubbing stage and it might make it on Korean airwave afterall later this year.

Wow, that does look awesome. I've had the opportunity many times to see it, but I thought it would be like 'Shadowless Sword' or Legend of The Evil Lake' which I didn't enjoy too much. The fighting was weird and bad acting in those two.

I think I'll give this one a try. It looks like the characters have more depth to them. I'm solely basing this on just that one MV. So please don't bash on me when I come back complaining.

I watched the movie last night upon someone's recommendation.

I thought it was entertaining enuf to watch. Basically a k-drama in classic setting and sword play. lol Koreans cant seem to escape the usual luv triangle, rich, poor, tragedy. lmao

I gib it 6/10

i've watched this movie for almost 6x and i still keep crying. i love this movie though the lead actor... he wasn't that ugly.. i would love to watch the tv series though...
