    I can't believe that there is so much going on with cast changes and stuff with this movie. I heard the plans for this movies few years ago...and when it seems to be finally start shooting (after Tony leaving)...another bombshell.

    With Tony coming back -- and yes the talks of LZL being taller than him, etc...imagine next week's news that Xiao Qiao is recast as well...?

    *grumbles* I've given on hoping for that. It seems like no matter who's replaced, she's there to stay.

    It's already been said by John Woo that with all the different filming techniques, and technologies, height would be no problem as they could easily make her appear shorter or someone else taller.

    Yah, look at LOTR's Hobbits. The actors aren't dwarfs.

    No... I mean that so utilise the technique so that the males would look taller than their female counterparts (because the actor isn't tall enough), is pathetic.

    I actually doubt they'll do that. They'll probably just have more closeups than full body shots in scenes where Tony Leung is with Chiling for eg. There's many different ways of making it appear 'natural'. It's not pathetic at all.

    Here's some images of the set:

    Looks very impressive but as a staunch Zhou Yu fan, I'm not going to watch it if it's going to be Tony and if the storyline is going to follow the novel. @.@;

    For those who worry about Lin ZhiLing ruining the movie, don't worry because she have a total of 3 lines in this movie, she just a vase in this movie lah

    LZL's manager just commented today in response to yesterday rumour that LZL is unhappy w/ Vicki and production team because Vicki got a better role, and more screen time.

    I like Cao Cao too!

    Liu Bei is too much of a pretentious crybaby while Sun Quan still seems to be suspicious to me. @.@;

    Cao Cao is undoubtedly the best out of them!

    Flop? Hahahaha. Maybe. Now they have decided to ruin Zhou Yu, I wish a flop on them too.

    YES YES! I'm so happy now! I'm willing to give Vicki a chance, because at least she has some potential. Ok, LZL can stay because she's good enough to be a pretty vase hahahaha.

    Yeah I have a very bad feeling about this movie too: something's VERY wrong with the director's mindset of shooting this.

    Seems to me, at least, that John Woo's only reason for shooting Chi Bi is to take a share in the recent "big name Chinese director" hollywood binge party... although I didn't know wuxia is Woo's strength. Judging from Woo's obsession with miscasting CYF and Tony, the director's insecurity and lack of (or rather, running out of) creativity really shows. He thinks the Three Kingdoms works like JingYong adaptions on TV? Maybe, but at least have the correct mindset of making a good movie about it, not using the popular subject to hide your weaknesses.

    You are in the movie industry, one of the most cruel race-track fields that does NOT allow indulgence in past glory... the audience is pretty clever and it's very easy for them to smell a rat and lose faith.
