Hehe, i was in a Heyx3 mood yesterday so i went and search for more telephone box segments to watch and found 2 Arashi ones that were subbed. I've only seen a couple of those including KAT-TUN, Hey! Say! JUMP, and Tackey & Tsubasa. I still get the most kicks out of the KAT-TUN one especially where the phone makes Jin end the segment with one of his infamous American jokes.Hey! Say!'s wasn't too entertaining as the rest of them. I did like the Arashi one where each member had to name something unbelievable about another member and every single one of them, except for Ohno, pointed out something about Ohno. I thought it was funny how it was like a unanimous vote for Ohno.
So i know i asked this already but is it really random when these telephone box segments occur? They're just so entertaining to watch.

I did make myself watch the NEWS one from April, strawberry. It was quite funny especially the part where Koyama falls for that April fool's joke. "We're nothing without Yamapi." What a hoot.Koyama and his karaoke antics were quite goofy too. I had heard about Yamapi being asked to play the Wii Fit but when i was watching it, i expected whatever he was going to be doing to be more interactive. But he did do well and scored the highest with those hula hoops.
I also watched the Heyx3 episode where KAT-TUN performed LIPS back in February. That was alright but not as funny as the more recent one that they appeared in. I liked seeing Kame doing his so-called impersonation though and then feeling silly and trying to stifle his laughter afterwards.![]()
I'm looking forward to seeing KAT-TUN in their MS appearance from today. I knew they were doing a medley but i didn't realize how special it was going to be. Per jpopsuki, this is their special medley on MS:
~Special Medley~
DON'T U EVER STOP
PARASITE
w/o notice??
Natsu no Basho
LOVEJUICE
Ai no Hana
SMACK
That's really nifty they're performing all of their solos from the LEs of Don't U Ever Stop. The only solos i've listened to are Ueda's and Maru's 'cause at the time, i didn't preorder theirs. But after listening to Ueda's over and over again, i just decided to get that one too. Ai no Hana is a really pretty song. I kinda lucked out with that since Ueda's and Maru's LE wasn't as popular as the other two and so i was still able to snag it. Anyway, i'm just waiting for my singles to come before i listen to the solos. And then after that, i'll probably watch the latest MS episode. I'll probably watch the rest of the episode in the mean time since Hey! Say! JUMP is on there and ayaka is back for another Okaeri performance.
BTW, which J-music variety shows do you guys prefer? I was first exposed to MS so i've caught a lot of those episodes but those 2 hosts are pretty darn boring. Not that i want to watch off the wall antics from comedians who are also hosts of a music variety show, but it definitely helps liven up the mood quite a bit. I still have yet to watch any Utaban episodes. I've got some but i just never got around to watching them. Though i did watch one with Utada Hikaru who got a surprise visit from Leah Dizon. It wasn't subbed so i didn't know what was said exactly. I was mainly watching it to hear Utada and Leah converse in English.
Whoa, this is a really long post. I guess i was on a roll and just kept babbling. Hope you guys don't mind reading it.![]()
