TVB New Series,Pheonix Rising, is going to be released in April. This series uses women in jail as its storyline, describing the darkside of women in prison. In the series, Crystal Tin and Leila Tong are sent to prison, living in harsh conditions, and because they accidentaly got one of the jail owners mad, he forced both to drink soap water, will the two ladies survive?

Crystal Tin, Louisa So, and Leila Tong are sisters. Since their parents died at birth, the three of them were sent to orphanges, and were later adopted to 3 different homes with different backgrounds. Louisa was sent to prison for killing her stepmother, but Crystal, wanting to save her sister, told officials that she was the one who committed the crime and went to prison instead. Leila, being a very nice person, tries to save Crystal by forging evidence but gets caught and sent to jail too. The three of them and the Jail owner have some hostilities, and thus the jail owner wants revenge, making Crystal and Leila drink soap.

Louisa is a good actress and I like Nancy. Haven't seen Crystal for a while too. I think we will need our tissue if we watch this series.

That's so strange. Sunny looks like Michael Tao in the poster. I've never seen him that way. Theres something about Sunny's face in the poster that does not look like his normal self.

I thought the same thing...the lips, face shape, nose, and eye baggage. It's been awhile since Sunny's been in a series in which he's not wearing glasses (at least on the poster).

For once, I think the casting choice is good in regards to the actresses playing as sisters, they actually look like they could be sisters, especially Louisa and Crystal. I've always liked Louisa So's acting, very underrated.

Phoenix Rising soon to be released, Jail Story very intruging

In July of 2007, TVB will release highly anticipated jail drama, Phoenix Rising. A huge struggle that started from a Shanghai murder case…for fame, status, and wealth, more over for justice, dignity, and love. Three sisters bordering between love and hate. Often times betraying each other, causing different opinions to erupt, and finally, breaking relationships with each other.

In Phoenix Rising, it portrays people’s greed and selfishness that comes from birth, but people have a kind-hearted side, the drama portrays the battle between good and evil. Besides not being able to predict what’s going to happen next, and the plot is also very nerve racking and fast paced, this drama also has an outstanding cast including Louisa So, Krystal Tin, Leila Tong, and Sunny Chan, proving this to be an awesome drama.

Three sister, Krystal, Louisa, and Leila were separated when they were small, but surprisingly reunited in jail. How will they work out what has happened between them? Will their sister relationship survive the difficulties? Who really killed Lousia’s mother? Phoenix Rising will be released to the whole world on July 9th, don’t miss it!!

Rich girl Lousia So was accused of killing her foster mother and was sent to jail, coincidentally meeting long lost younger sister Leila who is a teacher, and brought her to meet up with their older sister Krystal. Leila and Krystal worked together to help with Louisa’s case.

But everything doesn’t seem as it is, after having a child, Krystal learns that she has an incurable disease and decides to take Louisa’s place in jail. Leila can only do the research herself, but discovers that the report for Krystal’s disease is made up by Louisa, Leila cannot accept what her sister has done.

To help Krystal not just randomly go to jail, Leila goes and rescues Krystal from jail. Lousia wants to finish off Krystal by killing her, but instead destroyed her husband’s family. The three sister’s lives all lie on by a string…

wahoo..... this series is out already in Malaysia... well nobody seems to be talking about it... but IMO it is so much better then The Drive of Live
