she sings as well. i think she is originally from malaysia or singapore?

I don't think she sings very well and though she's not too good looking, I quite enjoy watching her in So Close...haven't seen much of her so can't really comment on her acting. And yes, she's from Kong Kong.

yah i do like her as well......... she was also good in the movie so close.......... I think she got a nice voice....... she sung the last credit of that film....... which was great............

Well, what do you mean by Chinese? Mandarin?

She's from HK, and her native language is Cantonese, so when she sings/speaks Mandarin, it does have a slight accent. Speaking from personal experience, it takes a really talented person, or just one with much practice, to completely erase the Cantonese accent from one's Mandarin.

Isn't she fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, English, Italian, and French? I mean, once you become fluent in 5 languages, I guess I can find a bit of sympathy to forgive an accent in Mandarin.

Really?! I've only heard her speak Mandarin and Cantonese; I've never heard anything about her abilities to speak English, Italisn, and French.

She speaks English, that's for sure.
Italian too 'cos I think she did Italian literature or history or something like that in uni.
And if you can already speak Chinese, English and Italian, why not French too

i really do enjoy her singing... very good and she has that type of voice that is outstanding, different from the norm...
