when the Jiang Nan 7 Freaks fought Qiu Chu Ji, QCJ had the help of the large bronze container which acted as his shield
in a fair fight, would it really take 6 freaks to match Qiu Chu Ji?

It might take more. The Burning Wood Monk served as an eighth fighter with the Gong Nam 7 Freaks as they swarmed Yau Chui Gei.Originally Posted by sarakoth

Should he have to fight against all seven using his bare hands to be considered better?
it's not about the weaponOriginally Posted by ChronoReverse

only the 6 junior freaks and Burning Wood Monk fought QCJ simultaneouslyOriginally Posted by Ken Cheng

Oh come on. JY also said that it slowed down QCJ. The fact that QCJ was ABLE to use such a huge item as a weapon is an attribute of his martial arts.Originally Posted by sarakoth

Personally, I think QCJ would have trouble taking 4 freaks.
With SEVEN (well 6) attackers, I'd say a heavy shield that can't be manuevered quickly around yourself is just as much a liability as a perk.
If I recall correctly, at no point was he fighting all seven simultaneously; it was two or three at a time, the rest swapping in when one got injured.
No, he faced the 6 junior freaks simultaneously.Originally Posted by Ren Wo Xing
