Foyle's War

I've really become attached to this British series. It's about Detective Chief-Inspector Foyle who is stuck in a small town during the war and wishes he could be released from duty to serve in the military. His son is a Spitfire pilot and his assigned driver is a very bright uniformed female army driver from Transport Command. Very well written in the typical understated English TV Series style.

Foyle's War is a great series. I have seen about 6 of them. If you liked that genre try the Hercule Poriot series staring David Suchet. The name of the actress that plays his driver is Honeysuckle Weeks.
