It's from her appearance as yellow maiden in HSDS 2009. A fan manipulated her yellow robe to white so she looked like XLN

I am guessing it would be like Fantasy Zhu Xian, but longer? People kept on referring to it as a movie/mini movie instead of a "commercial" like they did in Fantasy Zhu Xian.

Well....you have the DOMB mini-movie, BBJX, The Next Magic, and Tian Zhihen to look forward to (usually, she only have one project going at a time). So shouldn't be too bad right?
Plus all the publicity she'll be doing for the series/game.

And I don't think I'd like to see her as XLN anyways...too much like her demure characters from her other series.

Looks like the movie will do it's publicity during Shanghai Film Festival in June and anticipated to be in the box office in September? I didn't realize it took longer to do post-production on a movie than a series. They finished filming since November of last year and will broadcast in September, that's almost a year!

If I were Jin Yong, I wouldn't want Tangren to do a TV remake of ROCH, so unlikely that LSS will ever get to be Xiaolongnu.

DOMD is different as the copyright to film the ad is from the gaming company, not directly from Jin Yong.

Actually I have never been a big fan of XLN. She is beautiful and graceful indeed, but her character is too different and passive, don't you think so? BTW, something really bad and horrible did happen to XLN, so I don't want LSS to encounter that even it is just filming

Don't really get the connection between the Qing dynasty and skin care, but her expression here is so cute!

It's the granny hair and the clothing style--isn't it supposed to be set in the nineties or something? I've actually never liked the plot of Duke of Mount Deer. I like that Kang Xi is portrayed in a very playful and humorous light. However, I don't like the main character, Wei Xiaobao. I find Wei offensive and boring. Also, I much prefer wuxia dramas rather than Qing dramas with minimal fighting. However, I still might give Wallace's version of Duke of Mount Deer a try because of Wallace. But I'll probably end up fast-forwarding to only the Wallace parts. Does Wallace have a lot of screen time in there?
