Don't get me wrong. I definitely don't know any Chinese, but people translated this trailer into my language a while ago, so I just translated it back to English. went through ALL of the MVs that included Liu Shi Shi, Hu Ge and Yuan Hong which MuNianCi (LXX) and yansaniang uploaded onto youtube. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM!
My favourite was Hu Ge 胡歌 ~ Yuan Hong 袁弘 ~ Liu Shi Shi 刘诗诗 [MV] mostly because of how Liu Shi Shi started off as a 'killer' for the Rong Family. Rong Heng's (Hu Ge) infatuation for Ying Ge (Shi San Yue) is quite sweet...

1. do you know whether this mv is actually based on the book it says it is based on (华胥引)?

I also heard people talked about this too. That book is very touching, and sad. BTW, on LXX's channel, there is also a MV that is based on the novel 三生三世 十里桃花 (Three Lives Three Worlds) of the same author. That book is also very touching. And I heard that Tangren is planning to film this one, and Hu Ge will be the main male lead. Hopefully, LSS will be the main female lead

yeah. that is true. I asked about Three Lives, Three Worlds on weibo, and apparently someone from Tangren answered me (don't know who) saying that maybe if they wanted to incorporate more, that it would be a drama? hope that's true. movies don't "appetize" me as much as dramas.
and by the way, thanks Xiao Xiao for all the mvs from tudou and youku! some of them actually look like real life trailers, and the scenes match together really well. I wonder if the particular user that made mvs such as 《东宫》Eastern Palace,《华婿引：鹰哥片》 Hua Xu Yin; Ying Ge Pian is making all sorts of HG and LSS mvs on a daily basis it would be super cool it that were true

WOW!! I'm really excited if DOMD will be made into a full-feature movie! I don't get why people (or Jin Yong) would mind if a side story was made on WXB & Sophia. After all, there has been much celebrated spin-offs of great works of literature like Rosenberg & Guidenstein Are Dead (not sure if I Speke correct). The DOMD stills are absolutely awesome!!! I'd love to see LSS reprise her role as a Russian Yan Sanniang.

Agreed, much prefer long series over movies. When XYS3 finishes, they should start filming the movie I think. Speaking of XYS3, I don't understand why the news came out stating that they'll start filming the series in August?

Well, it's just a rumour. The Hengdian World Studios weibo hasn't changed its indicative date of mid to end July. Actually, I've to say I'm not really attracted to Kevin in the BBJX trailer - and he was the prince I was looking forward to most That's why I haven't been commenting on BBJX thread. Will get round to it when I have time anyway.

BTW, I've done something unforgivable - I'm soooo into FengMi now, watching and loving them in "Gong". ARRGGGH! :hide: They are collaborating in at least 4 series/movies in a row within a year and I still can't get enough of them *FACE PALM* - what's happening to me?!!!
