wow, i havent visit this thread for so long and so many good news for her. A new serie that is awesome , I just dont understand why she doesnt take 1st female lead, i was hoping to see her play 1st female lead.

I think the role of the 1st female lead is too similiar to the roles she previously played (The Young Warriors, Fairies of Laiozhai, LOCH 2008), demure and serious...thus she find the role of the princess(sassy and spunky) more challenging for her and she always wanted to play that role but never got a chance to

oh is that so, I would love her to play a different role that is good she choose that role. I hope she will be able to pull it off, i mean i cannot imagine liu shi shi being funny and spunky.

Considering they've just started filming two months ago...they sure got a lot done...(I guess enough to make a trailer to show at the conference).

I'm not quite sure how the whole production process go...
I wonder if they made the trailer according to what scenes they've got done filming so far? Then after filming is completed, they make another trailer, which would be the Official trailer?

It seems like there's a lot of spoiler in this trailer already...
Watching the trailer...I would think the main male lead is Fang Ning(Edwin Siu) instead of Lin Mu Fei (Yuan Hong). Liu Shi Shi's character doesn't look that significant in the trailer (bummer). Hope it's more important in the serie than it appears in the trailer. I want more of her and Yuan Hong

Liu shi shi looks *****y in this one slappy the main girl. Maybe Liu shi shi's charater is gonna be a hateful character for audience

Chinesechik525...looks like the long beard is showing up more often then we would like it to be If I'm not mistaken by the trailer, I think he have it at the beginning of the serie, then shaved it off later in the serie.. However, I find the scene where LSS was pulling at his beard kinda cute..LOL

I was making the assumption. Since LSS and Edwin are 2nd male/female leads I thought they would have a storyline/romance together, but apparently not the case according to the trailer.

As for LSS's character being unruly and bratty..hmmm, it's difficult to explain because I don't understand the whole plot why she had to act that way to decieve the palace. Once Huang Qiao Er (Janine) found out the princess is actually not "unruly", the two eventually become good friends.

I think Qiao Er married him out of pity. His legs became handicapped was the result of him saving her(from the trailer)...so out of guilt, she agreed to marry him. I also think if the general were to be with the princess, it was more out of pity then love...
