LSS rarely post any pictures of herself on her weibo (even William Peng-HunanTV something had to dare her to post her picture on her weibo). Ok, when a typical idol drama blurb is used, its obvious. I'm assuming there is a heck of a lot more depth than what is posted. Worse come to worse, LSS should feature in a lot of scenes.

Basically...

Beautiful/country girl manages motel on island. Rich CEO mama sends moody/proud son to island to manage property venture. Boy needs place to stay.

Boy meets girl...

Boy conflicted with homework (ahem...managing land rights and property changes), girl helps. As a direct byproduct of working in close proximity, occurs.

Mama goes all and sends out to destroy girl!

No really...

Mama tells girl to leave. Threatens her with the welfare of the whole island. So girl leaves.

Boy is and dashes off to find his lady love.

Girl is , discovering she cannot let go of boy. So writes him a letter before she dies, but alas, 14th disguises it in another envelop so it is never read by...woops, wrong series .

Boy has located girl with superior Sherlock Holmes skills, but just at the last moment...gets hit by a car!!!!!!!

In the ER, heart about to flatline, girl arrives at boy's death bed. Mama is so touched, she allows the princess to wake the prince with 'true love's kiss'.

Believe me, my slightly edited version of the current summary of Angel's Happiness is much more entertaining .



Yep, Autumn Concerto. I can't decide which is better. It's a draw with me. I don't think Peter did the directing...it was the first series to be released for his production company. Peter amusingly went down on hands and knees as producer to beg Barbie while doing her make-up to work longer because they had passed deadlines.

When Autumn Concerto and Summer Desire first came out with their descriptions, they were also bare-boned and lacking depth. Crossing fingers this is the same case as the one released about Angel's Happiness.

DMY filming will start next year, 2012 (Jan or Feb). TR was going to film it this year, but Tong Hua suggested filming once the weather becomes warmer can better express the feeling of the 'desert'. They will be filming at Dun Huang Filming Studios (where TR filmed a part of XYS). Karen says the fans' wanted HG to lead DMY the most, but she hasn't decided yet.

-No mention of LSS (probably because DMY readers know she doesn't suit JY) doesn't mean there won't be ShiGe. Still keeping my hopes up.

So out of curiosity...what is the characteristic of JY that a certain actress suit or does not suit the role? I thought the talents of an actor/actresses were to portray different kind of characters/roles?

For example, we were used to seeing LSS in a demure/damsel in distress type of roles...does that mean she only suits those type of roles? Same with Tang Yan, most of her roles in her series I find spoiled and nnoying. LYF most of her roles were pretty much the same type of characters also. Shouldn't the actresses/actors try something different then what they''re known for?
