I haven't had time to watch SWAK, much less read a novel. What's DMY about? Is it a court drama as well, but set in the Han Dynasty? The sequel being produced by Yu Zheng is Song In The Clouds (Yun Zhong Ge), also set in the Han Dynasty and with Mickey He as the Emperor Liu.

Although LSS wasn't the lead in CP3, but I think her role was quite stand out (playing an evil and nice girl at the same time).

I think it might be because the two series were idol dramas (popular with young audience), and she's more known to be good in those kind of characters (annoying to me)?

Not really. TR may have however many TR leads in their dramas as they want, not just one. E.g. XYS, LOCH (when YH was still with TR).

I haven't read any novels recently either. The problem is that online sites do not provide the full book. I'll probably take up some new online novels after I finish reading my collection of Shi Ge fan fictions.

OT, but which Emperor? Any news for the male lead on that one?

Not really. TR may have however many TR leads in their dramas as they want, not just one. E.g. XYS, LOCH (when YH was still with TR).

But the other main lead (Ariel Lin) was non-TR. From a promotional standpoint, they usually like to get a higher profile actor/actress (non TR) to play one of the leads to attract a broader range of audience. Having both TR leads is a bit too much incest (in terms of viewer population) and DMY itself is not famous enough to gather a large following.
