Hong Kong is still the world king of Cantonese cuisine. But for authentic Teochew fare, Singapore and Thailand have more to offer. Malacca in Malaysia is great for Teochew food too.

This actually makes me so happy!

I think its not whether he is European or not. Many Chinese men can look really cool and classic in shorts. The primary problem is the hideous shoes and socks get-up! No one (with decent taste and in the right mind) pairs up shoes and socks like that with shorts! It's bad taste really (I'm a HG fan btw!). He should wear some nice loafers or moccasin or espadrilles.

The secondary problems are: his skinny hairy legs and his very ugly outfit (I think for casual shorts, wear light linen in classic simple design and earthy tones.... not a cartoon old uncle suit with a retro gangster shirt).

Have you seen the men at fashion weeks? The shoes and socks would fit right in. I think problems are that 1) he doesn't have the European air to him and 2) it's really out of place in this setting. It's something that would definitely look more fitting among crazy European fashion personalities and eccentric photographers. But yeah, the legs...

Err....not really. I just can't imagine they dress like that. Are you sure they do?? Anyway at least we all agree that he looks better with his legs covered up. Its a good thing Chinese male period costumes usually cover up the legs. He looks very handsome in the official poster btw...
