Basically, Mademoiselle Agnes (a top professional at Chanel) takes interest in his abs so he gets topless and mentions some work-out tips, etc.
His head:body ratio is better and his arms don't bulge out as much. For me, this is the most a guy can go without having too much to be perfect. I don't like unnatural looking things (or people).

That's the show where Karen saw her and recruited her into Tangren, I think when she was about 17. When she entered Tangren, she was still completing her studies at Beijing Ballet Academy. She (or her Mum) actually took a tough stance against kissing scenes initially.

Out of curiousity, I wonder why Karen chose LSS I watched the first series (knowing it would not be that good) just to see how LSS's acting was, given that it was her first series, and not having any acting background, I didn't expect much. I must say, she was very very wooden, and nothing memorable about it.. and in terms of looks...she was just okay. There must be a reason right? Was it LSS's personality (which is totally understandable, because this was what attracted me to like her)?

I thought her looks weren't spectacular in Young Warriors either. She only became really beautiful in LOCH2008. Maybe Karen just saw some resemblance to Liu Yifei? The Chinese media now says LSS is a more "earthly" version of LYF.

It's not easy to spot a potential talent. Karen actually noticed Hu Ge first but took in Yuan Hong upon recommendation by Hu Ge. Maybe some people look better as they age.

I came across an article which said that the actresses and female production crew of Young Warriors were asked to vote for the most handsome Yang brother...and they unexpectedly voted Yelu Xie as the most handsome. 2 years later at the LOCH2008 press conf, Kathy Chow remarked that she didn't expect to have such a handsome "son". Then the Chinese media described LOCH2008's YK as "too handsome for words" causing endless embarassment to YH...to think he was the third choice for the YK role after Nic Tse and Wallace Huo. Now, all the articles on "Heaven and Earth People" keep describing YH's Qi Jun Zao as the most handsome imperial teacher in history.

But when YH first graduated and joined Tangren, people didn't really take note of him or thought that he was particularly handsome. Probably too boyish looking initially. YH even said at an interview that all the girls at university chased after Hu Ge, not him.

Shi Shi looks much better now in her early 20s than during her mid teens when she first debuted. Lin Jiayu was considered prettier than LSS that's why she was cast as Princess Chai in Young Warriors (LYF was initially cast as Princess Chai but turned down the role to work on her first album in Japan). But I think LSS is far prettier now...Lin Jiayu seems to have faded off.

Lin Jianyu was considered cuter than LSS that's how she got the princess part? LSS may not be pretty at first glance, but if you look closely and the more you look, she have more charm than the princess(my opinion). Actually, never thought Lin Jianyu was pretty nor cute. Have any idea why she left Tangren? I wonder if she regret leaving, since she practically disappeared and the Tangren artists are getting more well-known now.

^Tangren is a small group where actors/actresses are focused on individually, bringing out their potentials. When people go to bigger companies, they sometimes disappear in the pool of talented actors and actresses.

im a new fan of liu shi shi since LOCH 2008. Im so happy I found this thread. It seems more active in here. When I found out that she has a new serie coming out with Wallace Huo I just had to look for more updates and pictures of it. And here I found this thread of Liu Shi Shi. I read like half of the pages in this thread. I love all the updates and favoritism of her leading man.

I really think Liu Shi Shi and Liu Yi Fei do look similar and that both of their beauty are an equal match. Although to be honest I was more drawn into Liu Shi Shi more when I first saw her compare to Liu Yi Fei. But I like both of their works and do try to keep updated with it.

I'm just so excited for Liu Shi Shi's new serie with Wallace. Maybe because she finally gets to play the lead!! I've been waiting for her to play a lead role and now my wish has came true. I just hate the wait. I hope it'll finish filming soon and hopefully it'll air by this year? That's my wish and hope.

When I first saw LOCH 2008, I initially thought Yang Kang(Yuan Hong) was too good-looking for Mu Nianci(Liu shishi) and thought, couldn't they pick a better looking girl?? She is so plain looking.....but as I keep watching the series, she became more appealing and thought they were a great match and had great chemistry(IMO)....

During their school days, Hu Ge may be cuter and girls chasing after him...but now I think Yuan Hong is way hotter than Hu Ge!! LOL
