Well, remember in end-May last year, the trio were signing on 3 posters - YH on Bu Bu poster, LSS on Tian Zhi Hen poster, Hu Ge on Zhuge Liang poster. So I assume LSS is to be the lead in Tian Zhi Hen. She's going to be playing a character called Yu Xiaoxue according to her Baidu profile.

Here's the summary:
(Chinese: 軒轅劍參外傳：天之痕, literally "Legend with Sword of the Yellow Emperor 3: Scar

in the Heaven") Set in the era of Sui Dynasty, 150 years earlier than Sword of Xuanyuan 3, this game intended to cover the starts of several loose threads in Sword of Xuanyuan 3.

The main character is a teenager Chen Jingchou（陳靖仇）, the only royal descendant from the then decimated Chen Dynasty. The final attempt for counterattack from the Chen family happened several years before Chen Jingchou was born, where several thousand strong armies were congregated, but were single-handedly destroyed by a young general of Sui, Yuwen Tuo (宇文拓), who wielded the Sword better than any in the history.

Living in a time ruled by the killers of his family, Chen Jingchou has been educated by his mentor, Chen Fu, that life is "nothing but revenge". In their journey to acquire the Mirror of Kunlun, one of the Powerful Ten Ancient Artifacts.

Taotie was released from a fake Mirror. In order to protect Jingchou, Fu has trapped himself with Taotie using Silk of Ice spell, and instructed Jingchou to embark at once to find a way to save him, as well as finding informations concerning other Artifacts.

Jingchou later was later joined by Yu Xiaoxue (于小雪), a white haired girl showing unusual magic potential, the Göktürks blooded Zhang Lie(張烈), and [3], Zhang's sister in law Tuoba Yu'er (拓拔玉兒). During their expedition in collecting the Artifacts, they spied several Blood Rituals of a Million Souls, rites conducted by Yuwen Tuo, which involved the killing of a million souls, and gathering the essence of their blood into a single Blood Pearl. This greatly enraged the party, but Yuwen Tuo was too strong an enemy to be confronted. Thus they began to spy on Tuo's army, hampering his every effort to collect the Blood Pearls, and was even helped by Tuo's political rival in the palace, a young countess named Dugu Ningke(獨孤寧珂), who also wished to collect all the artifacts.

Eventually, their plan failed, and Yu Xiaoxue was held as a hostage by Tuo in exchange for the Artifacts that Jingchou's party had collected, namely the Ding of Shennong, the Seal of Kongtong, the Axe of Pangu, the Stone of Nüwa, and the Mirror of Kunlun. Jingchou complied, yet Tuo discarded the Stone and the mirror, proclaiming that he himself was actually the human manifestation of the Mirror of Kunlun. Yu Xiaoxue refused to leave with Jingchou, stating that she will stay and help Tuo's project. Losing all hope, Jingchou gave up and stayed with his saved mentor.

This did not bode well with Ningke, who was actually a demonlord from the Western pantheon. The time era she appeared was calculated to be within the time a demonic star named Chi Guan (赤貫) passing through China, thus opening a rift allowing demons from the West for invasion. Tuo somehow knew the consequence of the star, thus set out to collect five of the Artifacts in order to seal the rift the meteor would cause. However, several of the five Artifacts required for the Ritual of Mending has been out of reach. Ningke proposed to replace these with Blood Pearls, the rebuild of the Tower of Babel, and a Pentagram. In order to save the Chinese world, using his power, his riches and his relation with the Emperor Yang, Tuo managed to accomplish these against his moral codes. In the process Tuo also recognized that Xiaoxue was actually the avatar of the Stone of Nüwa, thus he told her his plan and convinced her to stay.

Naturally, Ningke cannot allow the Ritual to be cast away. Thus she once again manipulated Jingchou through treachery by murdering Yu'er, and left the blame on Xiaoxue and Tuo. With burning rage, Jingchou's party managed to fight their way up the Tower of Babel, where they were beaten once again by Tuo. Ningke appeared then and seized Xiaoxue as hostage to divert Tuo's attention. At this moment Jingchou leaped forward and severed Tuo's arm. Ningke then revealed her true demon form, and magically imprisoned Tuo. Unable to mend the sky, the Chinese world fell under Satan's rule.

Days later, under the instruction of the now immortal He Ran and Gu Yue Sheng, Jingchou's lot successfully collected back the Artifacts from Ningke's handmaidens in the bloodied world, then rushed the Tower again. They beat Ningke in her demonic glory, and rescued Tuo. Having the Artifacts at hand, Jingchou invoked the Ritual of Reversal (which is also named the Ritual of Loss, 失卻之陣) at the top of Tower of Babel, which, utilizing the power of Tuo as the avatar the Mirror of Kunlun, reversed time and brought the party back to the moment prior to the passing of Chi Guan.

After this was done, they then invoked the Ritual of Trespass (also called the Ritual of Babel), sending them above the sky, and arrived at Chi Guan itself. At the heart of the meteor, where Mastero Gu prepared to cast the Ritual of Sealing, the then-alive Ningke appeared. Not knowing that her plan has been known, she intended to continue her deception, yet a fight eventually ensued, and Ningke yielded. She said that her wish was to return to her homeland, and to "love her love". Mastero Gu stated that was naturally impossible due to her demonic nature, and put her soul into the Koto of Fu Xi (伏羲琴) for cleansing.

One moment prior to their leaving, Chen Fu saw that Jingchou standing side by side with Tuo, his supposed archenemy, who he hated with all his life. Ningke exploited this by giving Chen Fu the Fruit of Satan. By consuming it, Chen Fu suddenly possessed the strength and the power of Satan himself, his hate magnified a thousandfold. Chen Fu soon arrived at the heart of Chi Guan and starting destroying. As a finality, Jingchou's band had no choice but to kill Chen Fu to save the world.

Several decades later, Ningke was reborn as Nicole, while Septem was the descendant of Tuo, which can be seem from his eye. The Magic System is revamped in this game. All magics now belong to one of the five elements金木水火土 in Chinese mythology.

The game was released on 2 December 2000 . A television series based from the game, produced by Chinese Entertainment Shanghai Limited, would began shooting on 2011, starring Cecilia Liu.

I realized that Karen will try to market Lin Gengxin as the new Hu Ge(became popular because of CP1), but I'm not positive he will draw that much attention to this series...unless he caught everybody's attention in Bu Bu...

Well, from the synopsis below, looks like the main character in Tian Zhi Hen is Chen Jingchou, who is male. LSS' confirmed character, Yu Xiaoxue, is the female lead but she seems to be second to Chen Jingchou in importance. Don't think HG will play Chen Jingchou since his schedule is packed to the brim. Definitely not YH. So who else can there be except Lin Gengxin? Don't think Wallace Huo can be the innocent teenagy sort.

I think Lin Gengxin and LSS will look great as a couple! Already Gengxin is 3cm taller than YH and LSS' height is barely there. Guo Xiaoting is even shorter than LSS, so she will look incredibly awkward next to Gengxin. Hence I much prefer Lin Gengxin-LSS pairing to Lin Gengxin-Guo Xiaoting. And hey, he's going to be the lucky guy (14th Prince) who will marry Ruo Xi in Bu Bu.

But honestly, I much prefer pure wuxia series (i.e. no magic stuff) like Strange Hero and LOCH. Tian Zhi Hen sounds like it has too much mythology for my taste. Zhuge Liang would be really interesting bcos it's a war epic and will be the first time LGL will direct a movie.

I'm also crossing my fingers that LSS will be HG's wife in Zhuge Liang.

When LSS and YH are together at an event, any third party becomes a third wheel. When LSS and MTY are together at an event, everyone else is totally ignored. If LSS, MTY, and YH all showed up at an event together, do you think YH would turn into a third wheel?

Thanks for all the Tian Zihen info. I think Lin Gengxin is a likely possibility for male lead. Or maybe someone not really associated with the company? I can't think of who though. I can't imagine MTY in the role, but it's still possible!

Well, don't think YH will work with LSS for a long long time after Bu Bu, so not likely we can see LSS, YH and MTY on the same stage.

Actually, I realise there are a lot of online popular novels based on the “nine sons fighting for the throne” period, with the key players being 4th, 8th, 13th and 14th, and always a modern day girl falling in love with either one of them (or all of them ). Bu Bu Jing Xin was the pioneer. So looks like Yu Zheng got away with Gong bcos he can say that there are a lot of novels out there with the same storyline so how come Karen & Tong Hua didn't sue the rest...blah blah. Also in Gong, 13th and 14th are non-existent so you can't say it's the same storyline.

The biggest bummer is that there's news YH may not take a prominent role in Qing Shi (if at all) as they are playing up his bad a*s 13th Prince role leaving him little or no time to film Qing Shi.

AWWW MAN!! This ruined my day . And I hate his bald look!! K doesn't want to let him go huh? He can easily pay off his contract to Bu Bu, why let guilt hold him back? I much prefer to see him with a full head of hair romancing Ruby in Qing Shi .

I prefer pure wuxia series like Strange Hero than mythical/fantasy-wuxia combos too. The martial arts in Strange Hero looks much more real than in CP3. The one drawback in Strange Hero that there's not enough hot romance for LSS & Wallace but let's cross our fingers for their scenes in Ep 24. I really think she looks very compatible with Wallace, much more so than with Lin Gengxin who'd look like the Incredible Hulk next to her. I think Wallace clean-shaven can take on the male lead in Tian Zihen...why not?

I know....I wish they would develop their relationship already ( I mean more developed). There's not that much time for a steamy romance with only few episodes left...and it better ALL be dedicated to LGX and SN!!! There should be many scenes of them from the MV, also we have yet to see SN dressed in the female outfit with the flower in her hair acting as LGX's wife..remember?

Not me. I was all for Wallace, just that I was disappointed he doesn't look close to LSS in BTS shots compared to Ma Tianyu or YH. But besides the BTS, just look at Wallace in action in Strange Hero! I'm really crazy about Strange Hero now bcos Iljimae's one of my favourite Korean series of all time (along with Chuno), and I think Strange Hero is EVEN BETTER!!!

I always thought of female wuxia fighters as tough n physically strong but she looks tiny with YH in LOCH (hey, you can't wear heels in an wuxia costume!). I don't consider CP3 real wuxia so it's fine for her to be tiny. With Wallace in Strange Hero, she doesn't look like a midget . Ma Tianyu is just cute in a little boy way - definitely not manly enough to be an wuxia hero.

Hey, if Tangren decides to remake Chuno, my first choice would be LSS and Wallace in it!

I'm not too wild about SN acting as LGX's wife. LGX should love and appreciate SN for who she is. But yeah, after the flashbacks, I can see why it's difficult for him to move on as the LGX-RY scenes were romantically intense.


As for Bu Bu, obviously LSS isn't wild about the Ruoxi role she's been saddled with, so she hasn't been hanging out with YH either in BTS . I've read some threads in the Bu Bu novel's tieba site...apparently a lot of readers don't like Ruoxi's character (plus she cries a lot ). LSS going to be a flower vase female lead!! On the other hand, 4th and 13th are unanimously popular even though they are the villains.

But at least female Qing shoes have some kind of "heels" on them - let's hope she won't tower over Nicky .

I just watched the latest Strange Hero eps uploaded on YouTube. BOO! looks to me that the main love story is LGX & RY . The Wallace/LSS MV we saw made the most of the little we have of LGX-SN, but on second look, looks to me it's pretty one-sided on SN's side bcos even when she was comforting him in her arms, it's bcos he's crying over his dead wife (so unfair for poor LSS ) whereas in the same scene in LOCH, she's comforting YK over his dead parents and not over another woman !

I'm going to petition to Tangren to remake Chuno and give Wallace-LSS a chance again - you'd love the single-minded devotion/love between Dae Gil and Un Nyun.

As for the Bu Bu pics, great to see LSS break into a smile in the 4th pic. I'm sure she's kinda tired of pulling a long face most of the time.

If there's anything that can make me dislike YH, it's Bu Bu and his obsession with Qing.

Netizens observed that there must have been recent major diplomacy talks going on at Tangren. Karen and Yang Mi have once again mutually added one another on their weibos! (after deleting each other over a year ago) - despite the fact that YM is still working with YZ. Maybe HG was the key diplomat? But let's hope to see YM and LSS in the same series one day .
