I actually quite like most of the looks with Initial Fashion. I think there's too much going on in some of the outfits, though. As Coco Chanel said, you should always take off one thing before leaving the house. I think they need to take off at least 3 things in her Friday picture, starting with the belt, which looks quite careless (and not in a "je ne sais quoi" way). There is nothing Parisian about that hat (not that there's anything wrong with it). The coat looks really nice (awesome quality!), but we can't see its full glory with the scarf and belt. The camera is an awesome touch.

I adore Wednesday, I'd definitely remove the oversized bag (especially because it's such an "it" bag, and it makes the otherwise awesome outfit look so commercial). I'm not sure about the shoes and the headband, but that's personal taste.

I also really like Thursday, but I wish the quality of the shirt was better.

Monday is a bit too "blogger" for my taste. I have a thing against kitten heels, but I actually really like the shoes. Same comment for the bag as Wednesday.

Tuesday is cute. The only thing I don't like is the shirt. It's full of All-American sloppiness, but I guess that's the point. (Never mind, I also spotted the bag in the car.)

Saturday is my absolute favourite. No complaints at all! I love the tie.

Andddddddddddd....speaking of fashion. Being the spokesperson of many clothing lines, you'd think Hu Ge would be a better dresser. What in the world was he wearing at the Shangri-La's premiere conference? Not to mention the female lead's choice of clothing too....*face palm*.

- Monday is cute to me. When I see the scarf, I immediately think of an archaeologist But I don't like the bag.
- Tuesday is adorable, but it's too simple that it looks like she is wearing clothes at home; like the cute camera though ^^
- Wednesday is a very elegant and classy style, but the giant bag and the headband need to be taken off.
- Thursday's clothes definitely go well with the bakery (I'm a chocolate lover ^^), but again the headband must be taken off.
- Friday is hard to say. The clothes, the camera, and the hat make her look like a professional photographer. But I don't like the way they tie the belt around the scarf. It looks to cumbersome with too much layers.
- Saturday is definitely my favorite, it's very simple with less accessories, but she looks very elegant, smart, and kinda naughty. The style is perfectly fit for the bright color of the shop. The food looks yum ^__^

Big glasses, capri pants with black/gray/white shoes and the bun do look very good on LSS (can't distinguish which kind of bun).

I think Monday, Tuesday have the same feel of style w/ neutral color

Wed, Thurs., and Friday go together; tend toward darker and warmer color, makes me think of cappuccino. LOL

And Saturday has its own class, a very bright color w/ a hint of being free, cute tomboyish, and adorable style. LOVE IT!!!!

As for Hu Ge's style, I would say clueless. I don't know whether he picked the clothes or somebody else. If his stylist picked those, that person must be fired right away. The top looks fine if u ignore the short tie. The shorts is totally out of blue, and the color does not match the top well. The shoes are brown when the rest of the clothes tend toward a dark color (gray/black). Also, I prefer him w/ black hair than the dirty blonde =.=

Tthe female lead of Shangri-La has also a strange fashion style; maybe she wants to imitate the style of the female lead character in Daemul (including the hair style).

IDK, but my idea of a bona fide bad boy also requires a smokin' attitude. This "baddy" pic? Any male model can be asked to grow a 5 o'clock shadow, dye his hair and look exactly like this pic. I want more than looks alone - I want the smirk, the devious glint in the eyes, the baaad attitude in action

My guess is like Mookie's. His WXB will be puppy cute like Li Xiao Yao. But this is a game endorsement for the youth market, not a full length series, so it should be light-hearted and fun. Hence I'm fine with a puppy cute WXB which I'm sure HG will excel as.

As for HG & LSS coupling, who knows? I could be wrong and they may work well as a couple. I was pretty enthralled by the HG-LYF coupling in CP1, despite not liking the series and the fact that both characters belonged to the good side. I actually think there was a lot of natural spark between HG & LYF, much more so than the bad boy-good girl pairing of HXM & LYF in ROCH06. Weird...

We'll see how HG does, but I've a feeling his WXB is going to be like Li Xiao Yao - it should be acceptable in a short game endorsement. HG had a meaty bad boy role in Butterfly Lovers but i didn't think much of his performance there. His role in Shangri-la looks really promising, and from what I see, it's more of a nuanced role, so I'm looking forward to that. The problem with YH's Lin Mufei was not the good guy part, but its flatness/one-dimensionality. I thought YH did fine as Qianlong (depicted as "good guy") in Prince's Study.
