Who is the most handsome guy in JY universe?

my personal logic is: if a guy is handsome, he must attract woman.

In all the jinyong books i read so far, it seems that duan zhen chun has the most woman underneath his arms... though a womanizer, he must be pretty handsome to have so many woman fallen for him. though there may be other factors, looks must be one major factor.

duan yu and yang guo seems to be the next in the list.

THanks for the info Candide... I only read parts of HSDS so I guess I should not have said that. MY mom even told me several times that it was because of his talents in martials arts and how he kicked people's butt was what made him so attractive to all of those girls. BUt I think it was also his kind heart as well because if he was just a good fighter and was evil, I don't think any of the girls would have liked him that much....

Oh, so AH Fei is really handsome then... I didn't read all of the novel due to laziness... I am assuming that SHen Lang is handsome as well....

This is off topic, but i noticed that there were a few posts about Gu Long's characters.

I think Jiang Feng (Xiao Yu'er and Hua Wu Que's dad) is the best looking. In LS, he was supposedly the most handsome man and both the Floral Princesses fell heads over heel for him and did everything in their power just to get revenge because he loved their servant instead.

He's very good looking, like his parents, but cannot compare to SQS.

BUt I think it was also his kind heart as well because if he was just a good fighter and was evil, I don't think any of the girls would have liked him that much....

His kind heart made them fall in love with him, but it certainly didn't create the initial attraction. Had he been beaten into a pulp (or killed) in the battle of Brightness Peak, the most they would've thought of him would've been "Ah, that was a good brave man. Too bad..." then forgotten about him the next day among their usual random chit chats.

That would defeat the point of the Gwok Jing character. Gwok Jing represented the average "everyman" who had no special endowments, but through sheer persistence and grit managed to make something out of himself. He's a hero for the average man. Making him another "pretty boy" wouldn't have helped that.

There is also (rightly) no correlation between a person's physical appearance and his personal achievements in wuxia. Imagine what a fake world it would be if all the good guys were handsome and all the bad guys ugly - even comics are more realistic than that.
