Default You're a time-traveling wulin arms dealer: how much do you charge for these items?

You have a time machine that gives you access to any era of wulin history, in any wuxia author's universe. You have successfully acquired the following items for your inventory:

    1. The Heaven Sword*

    *contains 9 Yum Jen Ging

    2. The Dragon Sabre *

*contains Ngok Fei's War Tactics Manual

    3. the four swords of Dook Goo Kau Bai*

*there's a paradox because the Heavy Iron Sword was melted to provide raw material for forging the Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre, but assume that due to some cosmic fluke, it's not a problem

    4. the Gentleman and Maiden Swords of Passionless Valley

    5. Passionless Valley's Yin/Yang blades

    6. the Golden Wheel Monk's metallic wheels

    7. Central Divinity Wong Chung Yeung's sharp sword (the one he gave to Sheun But Yee)

    8. West Poison Au Yeung Fung's Snake Staff

    9. East Heretic Wong Yerk See's flutes (both jade and iron models)

    10. the Gwok Jing/Yeung Hong daggers (two--piece set)

    11. a set of white folding battle fans (formerly owned by Au Yeung Hak and Fok Do)

    12. Siu Seung Tze's poison dispensing rod

    13. Lee Mok Sau's Taoist whisk

    14. Lee Mok Sau's Icy Soul Needles (20)

    15. Little Dragon Girl's Honeybee Needles (20)

    16. Little Dragon Girl's protective gloves

    17. the Dog Beating Stick of the Beggar's Union (for display only; not practical for combat)

    18. the individual weapons of the Gong Nam 7 Freaks (individually sold, or sold as a set of 7 pieces)

    19. Mui Chiu Fung's whip

    20. the judge's pen and silver hook of Cheung Chui San (Mo Dong Hero # 5)

    21. the weapons of the Four Great Evils (sold separately or individually)

    22. the weapons of the Four Royal Guardsmen of Dali (all generations, DGSD and L/ROCH)

    23. Ding Pang's Curved Sabre

    24. Lee Chum Foon's flying dagger

    25. Ah Fei's self-made sword (iron and wooden models)

    26. Seung Gwoon Gum Hung's rings

    27. 9 Yeung Jen Ging manual

    28. Qwai Fa Bo Deen manual

    29. Bak Ming Sun Gung manual

    30. Yik Gun Ging manual (DGSD version)

    31. 1 Yeung Finger Technique manual

    32. 6 Mak Divine Swords manual

    33. Hong Lung 18 Palms manual

    34. Butterfly Canyon Healer Wu Ching Ngau's collected notes

    or

34a. that, plus the notes of Divine Healer Sit (DGSD) and the Divine Indian Healer Monk (ROCH) in a three-volume set

    35. antidote to Hsi Hsia Bei Soo Ching Fung gas

    36. antidote to Icy Soul Needle poison

    37. antidote to Passion Flower Poison

    38. the toad and centipede (not swallowed by Deun Yu)

    39. the blood of Leung Tze Yung's snake (1 liter)

    40. a "Thousand Year Ginseng"

    41. Icy Mountain Lotus

    42. Icy Bed of Ancient Tomb

    45. instructions for setting up a Peach Blossom Formation (and how to get out of one)

    46. flesh-dissolving acid

    47. Hsi Hsia Bei Soo Ching Fung gas (enough to incapacitate up to 100 people)

    48. Ling Bor Mei Bo manual

    49. a colored belt for admission to watch the Sai Mun Chui Sheut/Yip Goo Sing duel

    50. Wong Yung's soft body armor

So, how much would you charge for each of these items? Must be in traditional wulin-era currency (wulin folks won't have modern currencies).

    1 10000000 taels of gold

    2 8000000 taels of gold

(I've always felt the sword was better than the saber)

One thing is for certain, if you had *this* particular inventory for sale in wulin, you'd become *emperor* rich if you succeeded in selling it all.

Feel free to add stuff to the inventory that I don't have listed.

You'd better have a good place to hide them (like hammer space) and really good martial arts, because otherwise folks like OYF would be knocking on your door and getting ready to torture you.

batmankiller: I'd charge way more for Ding Pang's curved sabre. That thing could do some serious damage.

batmankiller, I would also charge lots more for the Dragon Sabre. The way everyone was after it in HSDS, no one seems to notice anything about Heaven Sword. Dragon Sabre you can totally jack up the price on that one.

I'd put them up for auction only for the top 10 richest people in the world.

One thing I wonder about is whether or not there *were* arms dealers in wulin. None would probably have the treasure trove of artifacts I've listed here, but they might be able to provide ordinary weapons quite handily, and perhaps an occassional special item or two for whoever can pay the price.

If you are the owner of all of this, you better be one bada$$ mofo who can handle himself. If not, the whole wulin world will be after you and your treasure. The granddaddy of all valuable treasure.

Just master all of the skills on the list except for the KHBD.

Oh, and probably even the entire Imperial Court will be after you too. Not only one nation, probably most.

If I had those on the list, I would probably keep them for myself.

No offense, but I wouldn't be jealous at all.

Even if you succeed in learning 9YZJ and you have all those weapons, poisons, etc; you'd be helpless against my guns.

    When you are asleep?

I didn't say about learning them, just hold on to them like artifacts.

You wouldn't have a plausible chance actually selling half of the swords and manuals listed there... at those prices.. Because the only ppl who'll have that much money... are the nobility... and I'm having trouble recalling a good fighter who'll 1) have that much money to buy it and 2) be able to use that... =p

If I had that.. I'd learn what I can then store the rest in my chrono-vault.... ^^"

I'd charge service instead of money.
I'd also learn the stuff and weild the weaons an poisons myself to prevent others from stealing my stuff.
