i don't think either of these two are idiosyncrasies
the first is something that might be assumed by most people. The second- well, in a poll for the 4 girls, i'd be surprised if ZM pulled the majority of votes.

XLN was the most beautiful woman in Jing Yong universe.

OYF, HYS and H7G are all messed up with part of Nine Yin Manual. Yi Deng learned some kung fu from Wang Chong Yang. ZBT also messed with Nine Yin Manual plus his Vacant fist and Mutual Fist techniques makes him on par with greats. Founder of Ancient tomb sect was also at great level with them.

QQR was never reached the level of great. He always was a notch below.
Yang Guo reached QQR's level before the sixteen years departure.

Guo Jing was a notch above the great level with his 18 subduing dragon palm, mutual fist, full Nine Yin Manual and many other techniques. he was on par with WCY and Golden wheel monk.

Little Dragon Girl was invisible in terms of technique with her part of Nine Yin manual, Jade Maiden art and mutual fist technique. She was at least on par with QQR, maybe above.

Yang Guo was the strongest with his sad palm technique, Du Gu sword technique and many others.
His sad palm technique was a notch stronger technique if we compare to 18 subduing dragon palm.

Yang Guo was the strongest pugilist in era of LOCH and ROCH/not counting Du Gu Bai/.

All The all, Condor couple is the best couple.
