despite there being lots of good male entries in the competition, i'm sensing a gender imbalance here....

anyone want to form a girl's group with me instead? We can sing... SHE? "Hou Niao" is pretty nice though.

Yes, that's about it. You can each sing different parts, refer to the link in the previous page.

    Still looking for F4 here....

but in the meantime, we might have a female group? seems to be lots of females here.

I think something like F4 or Il Divo would be rather impossible - the parts are not clearly defined, unlike with, say, a duet such as LOCH 82's three opening songs. With F4 you'll most likely have everybody singing the melody in unison.

Chinese opera sounds like fun... "Daaaaaaaai lui faa-aaaaaar!!!"

Fun options would be things like "We are the world", "Wo Ping Chi Gor", "Dei Kau Dai Hup Cheong" etc.. where tons of people each sing a line. Don't fancy many people singing the first line of "Dei Kau Dai Hup Cheong"'s chorus, though. It took the incredible Frances Yip and a screeching Kenny Bee to do it.

The 80s also had some awesome duets, can't think of any at the moment, though. The only one which comes to mind is Leslie Cheung and Chan Kit Ling's which has the chorus "Darling I want you"... not that I can sing Leslie...

yes, it is. Tough to form a team, if everyone has different time zones and other things on the side. But it is doable.

well i assume people will divide up parts between themselves, so they can even turn normal songs into group ones. Those highly skilled may try their hand at harmonising, otherwise, take turns and then sing the chorus or any more difficult parts together.

Aww come on... where's the guy power?? How about some combos like:

Guang Liang + Pin Guan = You Ni Zai Shen Pang

Guang Liang + Cao Ge = Shao Nian

Jacky Cheung + Zheng Zhong Ji = Zuo You Wei Nan

Shi Kang Jun + Ah Xin = Ai Zhong Fei Xing
    The Truth is out there
I say we leave it there...

yeah, good point, but my intensions was to do an easy song because of the time constraints. This way there is more focus and just have fun doing it.

because it's a group thing, i think it'd be nice to have more variety too. i mean, you might not do an rnb/rap song in the single entries, but in a group, it'd be cute to try some.

LOOKS TO NUMBER 4 BG MUSIC DIVISION 1 - it would be really really cute!

i think with the songs i will do, most will be faster paced, fun songs I really want to do something with as much variety in the song as Rising Sun by DBSK - because that'd be so fun to record and listen to.

unfortunately, you're not male are you...

i noticed something. If people don't start forming their own groups, it'll just be mine, so i will have 100% chance of winning

hmm, Aanna and I was talking about that idea suggesting another song to sing. We did questioned, how many groups can you join?It does brings that variety, plus a bonus. Once, I tried to sort through everyone's sound clips; without any negative judgments. Sure, I don't mind; hopefully there is enough time because I recently heard it. Hey, two entree's not bad it increase the chances. It is a real test singing old classic to modern.
