Just wanted to thank you guys for your opinions on Secret of the Heart. I don't think I will rent it then, unless I have time later on in life

LastDay, thanks for the recommendations. I have seen both DIF 4 and Golden Faith. Jessica's performance in there is excellent. Espicaly in DIF4 since it has Louis too Perfect couple right there!!!

Sutisa, I missed talking about Jessica too and espically talking with you guys!!! Going to try and come in here more now!!! She dies in there? That absolutely sucks!!! Babygurl, the viet title to A Chinese Ghost Story/Eternity is Thien Nu Uuo Hon. I think I spelt it all accurately. Also there is like 32 tapes or somewhere along that. I forgot now!!! Its a must see though!! Jessica is sooooooo awsome!!! Oh yes, thanks for all the news on Jessica and stuff!! So Louis got his contract renewed huh? He better start filming more series now and espically with Jessica!!! Oh that picture of Jessica with Roger is cute. These two really do hve chemistry. I would like to see them in a modern series togehter as a couple!!!

After watching Golden Faith, I just loved her hair and I happen to be due for a hair cut, so when the hairdresser asked me what I wanted done I just described Jess's hair. I've got the same cut but my hair is shorter then hers. It's taking me ages to grow.

Actually I don't mind Joe in this series that much. When you do get to see it, you probably don't want Louis in this series either because Sit Ding San's character is quite wimpy, and Louis can't act that even if he tried. He's just too cool. That's why Joe is perfect for it. Any way Joe's character is way under Jessica's (just look at the title "Lady Fan"), so I don't think Louis would have that. But I do know what you mean, cas the person most compatible with Jessica is Louis Koo! What can I say they just have chemistry.

Goddess, I agree with you too that Roger is good with Jessica as well, I wouldn't mind them in another series too. I'm also hoping that she can do a series with Julian as well. I better work harder on learning my black magic, even if my hair turns white in the process! So consider yourself lucky Babygurl that your's is turning green.

Fan Lei Fa is very good, if your a Jessica fan you have to see it. One thing she looks prettier with each shot, has the most screen time and the (english) title is dedicated to her character. See someone like me, who doesn't understand a word of the series still likes it hmm! I wonder if likeing Jessica has anything to do with it?

That is so true, that is one of the reasons why I like her so much. I wasn't really into Joe Ma and Jason Wu when I first heard of their pairing, but in both Eternity and Lady Fan, they actually were better then expected. Especially Jason Wu, everyone seems to really like their pairing better then Daniel and Barbie, they were definetely the interesting couple in this series. And I guess TVB like the pairing of Joe and Jess since their now filming A Family of Five together.

Hey! Goddess, you might get your wish afterall, cas I heard that Jess and Roger are going to pair up in another series together, except that it's going to be a Mainland production (don't know if this is confirmed), but it's most likely going to be an ancient series.

You know what I'd really like to see? A series starring Louis, Jessica, Michelle and Raymond! Have the girls play sisters and the guys play brothers - since Raymond looks so much like Louis and Michelle looks so much like Jessica already, and the 4 of them are considered 2 of TVB's best golden couples. I seriously think it'll be a scream.

You know who I would love to see star in a series togehter? Of course Louis and Jessica. But it has to have Raymond also and instead of Michelle put Myolie in Then of course Annie Man and Benny Chan too. Thats my favorite pairings at the moment.

Goddess - I read an interview where Jessica said that filming for the new Taiwanese series starts in March and goes on till July earliest. I've been looking out for other news on it too, but so far zippo.

Didn't Jessica and Roger star together in "Rural Heroes"? I haven't caught that series yet, but everyone seems to make it seem as though "Square Pegs" is the first show they're doing together.

I'm currently watching "Game of Deceit", and it's hilarious, I can't believe I haven't found it earlier! I had to stuff my pillow into my mouth cos I was laughing so hard. The scenes with Nick and Jessica had me doubling over. It never occured to me that Jessica could actually carry a comedy because she's always acting serious and tough characters.

I'm juggling between DIF 4, Game of Deceit, Lady Fan, Lofty Waters Verdant Bow, King of Today and Tomorrow, Fate Twisters, and I just finished Square Pegs. Notice something?

Hi all, you know what, I've been to the Jessica's forum (bravenet) lots of times but never actually post anything. Well, last nite finally I did but then there's this 'psycho' who caused trouble there and post several messages under 3 different nicknames, one msg replied to mine and another msg posed as Jessica...gosh, it created quite a havoc. I was so worried coz he/she replied my post and my msg got locked because of it, geeezzz, a good thing the boardmasters were quick enough on finding that 'troublemaker' by identifying his/her IP address and he/she got banned and all his/her messages were deleted. Mine stayed, of course.

Why would anybody do a thing like that? It was such a juvenile thing to do and 'really low'.

Well...just wanted to share my 'little incident'.

Thanks Arashi for clearing that up for me, All I knew was that it wasn't TVB like you I wouldn't mind a series with Jess+Louis and Raymond+Michelle together. I especially want to see Jess and Michelle play as sisters again, I really like their sisterly love in Golden Faith. Most of the time it's only three of them together eg. Golden faith - Jess, Raymond and Michelle, ASITP - Jess, Louis, and Raymond, never all four together.

Goddess, watch CBWH and you will like Julian and Jessica for sure, and you will hate Gallen with a passion. I don't really like the pairing with Sunny, because SoTH left a bad impression on me but definetely Nick Cheung, cas they were hilarious in Game of Deceit. Arashi I was doing the same with my pillow cas (I watched it at night) I was laughing so loud my mum had to come and tell me to quieten down cas she couldn't sleep.

Also yes Jessica and Roger did do Rural Hero first but they played brother and sister (they were still cute though) so techniquely Square Pegs is their first series as a couple.

Belki, some people don't have respect for others and like to stir trouble, just to satisfy their own ego, the best thing is to ignore and not let it get to you, or else you're just boosting their ego. It's good that they got to the bottom of things quickly.

OMG something like that happened w/ Louis' forum. some creep said he/she was the real Louis and started a website. the boardmaster posted up a message warning fans not 2 give n/e personal info. those ppl r psycos! i wudn't want 2 run into ppl like that. it just creeps me out.

well... some interesting facts about Jessica:

Sunny said in an inerview if he had 2 chose a girl in the bizness 2 marry he'd chose Jessica.

Bowie Lam said Flora & Jess r his 2 best girls. Jess is very str8-4ward & he likes that.

Louis says he feels very relaxed when working w/ Jess & she's 1 of his best friends. Wong He, Roger, & Bobby said the same thing.

Deric invited Jess 2 a Bday party once. she was his ONLY guest who's in the bizness & he rarely throws Bday parties like that.

Jess said most of her current friends r male. when she was little she only hung around boys.

this is funny: when she was lil, her mom wud let them eat dessert whenever they finished their dinner. well she was a slow eater & her bro ate fast. so whenever she'd b done w/ her dinner the dessert wud b gone since her bro ate them all. 1 day b4 they started dinner, she took a bite out of all the fruits. after dinner she got the dessert all 2 herself since her bro wudn't eat what she bit off.

Jessica's so cute, and smart to do that to her brother. She must be a really nice person if all those guys get along with her. Also Jackie Lui only took part in A chinese ghost story because he wanted to meet up with Jessica cas they hadn't seen each other for a while. He also considers Jessica as one of his good friends. Also Gallen choose Jessica (and Louis) to be the godparents of his child. so they've got to be close friends.

Oh! in Rural Hero, Roger isn't a villian, he just got roped into robbing a bank, but he isn't evil or anything. The series is pretty cute, I remember that I like Rogers and Jessica's brother/sister relationship better than Jessica and Jackie's love relationship. I liked it because Roger cared for his sister a lot. I remember this line when he said 'the person he cared for the most was his sister because he only had one sister'. When she was in danger, he was so worried about her. I think I might re-borrow this series again just for Jessica and Roger.

How's the ending of Rural Hero? I read the review here on SPCNET and the reviewer said it was quite a pity that Jess had to fall in love with Jackie, why is that so?

My mom saw a preview for Rural Hero and she really likes Roger, Jessica, and espicall Jackie so she was planning to rent this. Lol, she didn't know we already saw this seires, but I told her. She does care though, planning to re-rent it sometime.

I've never had that bad experience happen to me and I hope it won't. I find it really dispicable as to how and why someone would do such a thing!!!

Wow, she does really have a lot of friends and gets along with soooooo many people. Those comments on her are soooo great!!! I've also been told that she is close friends with Mariane Chan, Jason Wu, and etc.

Hey belki. Its been awhile, but the ending to Rural Hero is a good one I think. Jessica and Jackie do end up with one another I think. Maybe the reviewer for the series didn't like Jackie with Jessica or their character together. Wouldn't know, maybe you should email the reviewer.

Oh! my mum is the same, she's probably worst then yours. She could have just finished a series and when we go to a friends house and they're watching the same series she has no recollection about watching it! She has to ask me if she's seen it and she's just finished it 2 days ago.

Belki, the ending for Rural Hero is a happy one for Jessica cas she gets with Jackie. Roger has to go to jail because of what he did in the past and he ends up likeing that other chick with the big mouth (sorry don't know her name but I don't like her). The series is pretty good, it has a lot of emphasis on family and you will dislike Jessica's father cas his just too uptight. I think the reviewer didn't like Jackies character cas he can be a bit annoying as well, and maybe his acting wasn't the best.

My favourite scene is the one where Jessica got a job as a reporter and she'd just bought a camera. The job is a secret cas her dad is strict (he's old fashioned) and she was telling Roger that she was on trial for 2 months, and he teases her saying thats just enough time for her pay to come, to cover the cost of the Camera before they fire her! or they're dad finds out and she has to resign. She gives him a Look and stuffs the biscuits she was eating into his mouth. I thought that was so cute, so I kept on rewinding it. I think I did it about 6 times . I did find that in her scenes with Roger, they had more chemistry then her scenes with Jackie. Even though Roger was her brother and Jackie was the guy she likes.

LOL Sutisa!!!! hehehe, I know waht you mean!!! At first when I watched DIF4 I so watched for Ching Ching to just dissappear. I don't care, let Roger kill her. But then I do feel sympathy for her. It would be nice if TVB somehow puts Roger and Jessica togeher at the end of DIF4, hehe That would be nice!!! Since if she can't get with Louis, make it Roger at least.

LOL Your mom and mine sound exactly the same!!! But you know what frustrates me the most? My mom watches a series and then she goes to do something or its the next day, she sits in the living room while I'm all the way somewhere else and she starts yelling if I know what tape she was watching!!! Oh my gosh, that annoys me soooo much. Its like, how am I supposed to know when you are watching it? My mom has such a short term memory, but at times thats good since I get to rewatch some series due to her

When Roger first appeared, I thought wouldn't the storyline be better if Roger also liked Jessica. You know, started to like her when he went in for those therapy sessions. Another aspect of the series that I would have liked to change (apart from the ending) was to give Jessica another love interest (not that eye doctor guy cas he died too early), it would have made it more interesting cas we could have seen Louis get jealous, and it might make him realise how important she is cas he had to pass obstacles to get her love.

Also, that scene in Rural Hero is only a little one, thats why you probably don't remember it. I only remember it cas I rewatched it so many times, the scene was so cute. I think when she shoved the biscuit into his mouth, it wasn't part of the script!

Talking about mothers...mine has got the strongest memory, ever. She doesn't watch series but for any movie she's ever watched, show her a scene for like about 5 minutes she would then recall quickly if she's seen it or not. Give me one hell of a time coz I'm running out of movies to rent for her.

I've seen quite a lot of Jessica's series, but Happy Harmony unfortunately isn't one of them. My TVB store has already deleted it, cas it's quite old and I think the series was quite long, a bit like the modern Virtues of Harmony, but only about 25 tapes (?). The stupid thing is they still have the picture but don't have the series anymore. I wanted to see this series alot cas on the picture it has Jessica hugging Louis, but I've heard from somewhere that they play cousins, and Jessica's love interest is someone else. Also, as cousins (and in their earlier days), they still had chemistry! and always tease each other. Rumour also has it that in the series, they were actually supposed to be a couple but because Louis has to also film Return of the Condor hero, I think his scenes were changed cas he couldn't participate in this series as much, so they had them play cousins instead and gave Jessica a new love interest. Too bad for us but then again I guess it's better cas I can't get my hands on this series. Hopefully someone here has seen it and can shed some light for us.
