OK lemme str8en this up a bit. i'm saying that to me, Maggie Cheung Man Yuk seems more nice than Maggie Cheung Hor Yee (KOYT) cuz Hor Yee gets such negative press. the press makes her seem like she's unfriendly & i just wanna say that the old Maggie never got that much bad rumors. but enough w/ all that now.

most of u seem 2 agree that Louis makes a good couple w/ Jessica. i think he's the best. here's my rank of best costar:

First place definitely goes to Louis. There's absolutely no doubt about that. Then, it's a tie b/w Gallen and Nick (coz I loved "Game of Deceit"). Yep, Joe Ma goes down right to the bottom of my list. Even Bobby is ranked higher than him.

3) Nick Cheung (even though he looks shorter then her, but I still like him, maybe because Game of Deceit is one of my favourite series)

7) Sunny Chan, Deric Wan, Hacken Lee, Michael To, Francis Ng, Lawrence Ng, Bowie Lam, Bobby Au-yeung, Jackie Lui, and Jason Wu.
8) Joe Ma (only because I don't think his lead star material)
9) Lui Fong - If you think Nick is short, what about this guy?, his not only short but not cute at all. and where did he come from? he has to be the most un-compatible with Jessica.

i haf just finished watching Lady Fan...and really like her acting in those ancient costume dramas...and she look so cool when she fights...hope to see more of her soon....

Have you seen Eternity? (A Chinese ghost story), she was very good in that series, especially when she had white hair, she was so cool and powerful. She had the most powerful martial arts and her character is fated to kill the bad guys!

Also in Class of distinction, Leon ends up with Teresa Lee.

Have you seen the parts when she has white hair, if you haven't, just wait cas you'll be burning! (also pray that you'll get to the parts that have Jessica and Jason quicker so you don't have to see Barbie and Daniel, who were so boring and annoying)

As for Teresa Lee, she also stars in Legendary Siblings 1 with Jimmy Lin (Taiwanese series) she's the one dressed in red. As for TVB series, I can't really remember any. I'll try to find a picture.

Hey there everyone

Finally I've got time to post something in here. Anyways everyone doing well? hehe, good then. On with the talking

I'm thinking of renting Class of Distinction for three reasons. First it has Jessica in it, lol. Second it has Teresa in it And lastly it has Leon Lai Oh you know, I love Teresa. Since you guys have mentioned her, I'm just going to say how I love her as Zhang Jing in The Legendary Siblings. If you have time come into her thread and talk about her if you've seen her or whatever

Anyways at the moment I am watching Jessica in A Good Match From Heaven with Deric Wan, Amy Kwok, Louis Yuen, Joey Leung, Ho Mei Tian, and etc. I like it so far and I love Deric and Amy. Argh, this is like the one series that Jessica really annoys me in. I don't know why, but her character makes me so angry. Could be because I want Deric with Amy. But one thing I like about Jessica in the serise is that she is really cute!!! Gosh I didn't know that Jessica and Deric starred in a series before Golden Faith!! They are cute, but again I perfer him with Amy in here for some reason.

Lol, I'm on tape 7, but I watched the ending and its confusing. If any of you guys have seen the series then could you explain it a little bit more for me please? So what did Jessica decide to do? Recarnate into a little girl or did she turn into a rope to connect Amy with Deric? Plus did Deric forget about Jessica? Did everyone else? Who did he really love all along? I'm coming to it, I'm coming to it. I've only seen short scenes of when she started losing control because of the Xuan Xin Mystic that she practises that turns her white-haired once in a while when she's jealous, up until she finally loses it and turns into a full-fledged white-haired, uhm, maiden? hahaha..... I'm currently at the part where Chu Ge Liu Yun discovers who he is. I'll be watching the second installment (Eps. 21-40) by the end of the month. Don't ask me, it's the CableTV that decided to divide it into half! hahaha.....

Lucky you! I wish it will be shown on TVB Xing He one of these days. I've seen the trailer (thanks to Vicky) but I don't recall ever watching this series. Sigh.....

Hehe, I do hope that one day you get to watch it. This series is very short. Only 13 viet tapes and Jessica and Deric are cute!!! Lol, they are so different then in Golden Faith. Well duh goddess, this was released in 1995. So basically 5 years before GF. Jessica's role is amusing though. Espically in the beginning when she was a goddess and didn't have much human troubles.

The version I watched was very bad in quality and it was a while ago. Towards the end of the show, the "Yuet Lou" or Jessica's heavenly superior says that Deric and Amy has to die because they broke the rules of heaven, which was somewhat Jessica's fault because not only she didn't succeed in bringing them together, but she ended up getting stuck in their relationship herself. So to redeem her mistake, she sacrifices herself to become the red thread to tie Amy and Deric together. The end also has a tongue-in-cheek suggestion that the little girl Deric meets is the reincarnation of Jessica. And yes, Deric forgot about Jessica, it was one of the conditions of the deal. I think Deric loved Jessica over Amy, which was why the 3 of them was about to be punished.

I thought Deric looked really cute in that series with his crew-cut, it reminds me of his first series, Looking Back in Anger. Most people end up rooting for Amy with Deric in there for the same reasons that you mentioned too.

I really want to catch "Chinese Ghost Story" for Jessica but I refuse to wade through 20+ characters and a 40 episode show to see her. Maybe when my tv channels show it again, I'll try and catch it.

Like I mentioned earlier, I'm currently watching this series and if you want, I can tell you when and which episode she appears in. I mean, after watching 20 episodes so far, she has appeared in 12 out of it.

Goddess, I knew you had to comment on Teresa when we mentioned her! You just can't help herself. Also, theres another reason to watch Class of Distinction, apart from Jessica, Teresa and Leon, theres Louis Koo! Hmm more drooling.

Also apart from "match' and Golden Faith, Deric and Jessica were also in Outburst together. I remember "match" Jessica was definetely cute, she liked to eat a lot and I liked the scene when she 'slept' (actually her goddess spirit went back up to heaven) and they couldn't wake her up. So it appeared she slept alot.

Oh yes, TOTALLY forgot about Louis Koo's character. He was Leon's good friend, I think. Introduced him to the teaching job, if I remembered correctly.

I was thinking the same when I watched it. If I was the director, I'd completely get rid of Barbie and Daniel from No.1 and No. 2 and move Jess and Jason up cas, to me, they were more lead. There screen presence was just enchanting. Then in the No. 3 spot should be Nie Yuan who was pretty good too. My favourite scene is the one where Jessica comes and helps everyone by stopping the evil mist, so powerful, when so many people couldn't do it and she did it all by herself! Also the last fighting scene with Jason against Nie Yuan is quite impressive also. Can't wait till you see more.
