jeez skipped 1 day of going 2 SPCnet & all these posts come up!!

For me, I would rank her co-stars as:
    1) Louis Koo (who else)
    2) Julian Cheung
    3) Nick Cheung (even though he looks shorter then her, but I still like him, maybe because Game of Deceit is one of my favourite series)
    4) Gallen Lo
    5) Wong He
    6) Roger Kwok
    7) Sunny Chan, Deric Wan, Hacken Lee, Michael To, Francis Ng, Lawrence Ng, Bowie Lam, Bobby Au-yeung, Jackie Lui, and Jason Wu.
    8) Joe Ma (only because I don't think his lead star material)
    9) Lui Fong - If you think Nick is short, what about this guy?, his not only short but not cute at all. and where did he come from? he has to be the most un-compatible with Jessica.
ahh yes Lui Fong. is he the guy from "When Dreams Come True"? he was so short & ugly. ppl like him shud NEVER be lead & coupled w/ Jessica!! then 2nd to last on the list has to b Joe Ma. a lil above Joe is Bobby, Bowie, Francis, Jacky. don't like Lawrence at all but never seen Jessica w/ him b4 so...

Gosh I didn't know that Jessica and Deric starred in a series before Golden Faith!! They are cute, but again I perfer him with Amy in here for some reason.
yeah i prefered Amy over Jessica too. but she was really cute in the series as a fairy-heaven-cupid-whatever person.

i can't w8 til spring break so i can rent "Chinese Ghost Story". i've been w8ing 4 it 2 come out all the way instead of a new tape each week. i'm not a big fan of Taiwan series myself but w/ Jessica, it's a whole nother story. did u know Jackie Lui only filmed in that series just so he cud catch up on old times w/ Jessica? that's so cute.

My favourite scene is the one where Jessica comes and helps everyone by stopping the evil mist, so powerful, when so many people couldn't do it and she did it all by herself! Also the last fighting scene with Jason against Nie Yuan is quite impressive also. Can't wait till you see more.
Oh yeah, I know! That was so funny. Tien Nu was pushing forward and so was everyone else and guess who decides to "pop up" in front of them? None other than the VERY capable Jessica! LOL..... Hmm.... I don't think that scene appeared yet. Don't go too fast on me, I just finished 20 episodes and am waiting for 20 more to come by the end of the month.

Yeah Lui Fong is the guy in "when dreams come true", not only was he short and ugly, but he looked old too! I'm still wondering where they got him from. I know his a singer but come on, even Bobby looks better with Jessica then him. As for Lawrence, I don't mind him, and he and Jessica are alright together, though I don't think there was much chemistry, hence thats probably why they've never been in another series together. But Lawrence is good with Flora (and Ada but I've never seen there series so I can't say), I like them in A taste of love.

JessCC, I'm also not a fan of Taiwanese series, they seem to have really bad plots, and they drag on forever. Eternity is one of the better ones, but it still needs alot of work. Especially storyline wise cas it's quite confusing and the series creates lots of questions. What I hate is useless characters saying and doing useless things. Taiwanese series seem to put in a lot of useless things and don't empasise on the more important things. Like for example Legendary Siblings 2, I found Jimmy Lin's foster father so useless and irritating but they keep having him in every scene. And when I think his finally gone, he turns up again, saying something thats supposed to be funny but its not. Useless and just taking up screen time. Like Eternity, theres still so much unanswered questions after watching it that they should have dedicated more scenes to explain. If it was TVB, the father would have been dead in the first episode.

Also, let me tell you, that last fighting scene is awesome! Enjoy

Well, I don't watch Taiwanese series for ONE main reason, my Mandarin is NON-existent! hahaha..... My Cantonese is reasonable but my Mandarin? "Zhen Bu Hao!" hahaha..... It's VERY bad! I'm trying to learn, though, being around Mandarin speaking people, asking them to teach me and talk to me in Mandarin. It's slow, but I think it's worth it. But I guess Taiwanese series are known to be overly dramatic and very redundant, so I was prepared. But seeing Jessica, NOTHING is redundant! hehehe.....

When I'm there at the last fighting scene, I'll tell you!

i d/l-ed the trailer 4 "Chinese Ghost Story" & it looks soooooo good!! the fighting scenes look cool & so does Jessica. can't wait 2 rent it.

Taiwanese series sure has a lot of crying. they're getting better but there's still some extra unneccessary crying scenes. my sister & i used 2 make fun of the crying all the time. then there's the bowing-of-the-head-evertime-u-greet-somebody from Korean series. i know it's the custom & all but it's so old fashion!

    Hey everyone,

haven't been here for the last couple of days-been busy. Looks some of you have been busy posting. Yeah, I can't agree with you girls more. Talk about a boring movie. I watch the first ten episodes of 'Eternity' and got bored with it. Yeah, it got Jessica in there but even with her the script needed some makeover. Barbie and Daniel were the most useless couples I've ever seen. All they've doing is either crying and whining about their love for each other, please.

What really got me going was when it shows Barbie and Daniel moping around during the "crisis" where the monster? was threatening to destroy the world--something like that. My chinese aren't that good and can't understand half of what they were saying.

I've never seen class of distinction. But the way you girls were describing it I really want to see it now. Can you tell what year it was the series?

gotta get going. talk to you guys soon!

    OMG...
It's a collective production from Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong, although, I think the main one is Taiwan.

For those in Malaysia and Singapore who have just bought the latest edition of "Galaxie" (17th-31st March) would have probably read it. Even though I think it's "old" news but I thought I'd share it with you guys.

(taken from "Tiny Download Area of Jessica Hester Hsuan" - thanks!)

    Smitten

Love is in the air for JESSICA HESTER HSUAN. The top TVB actress says she's currently dating one of the nicest guys in Hong Kong and they are very, very serious about each other. "I want to marry this guy," the 33-year-old gushes about her new love while attending a musical event in the former British colony. "I can't reveal his identity to you (the press) because I want to protect him from being stalked by the Hong Kong paparazzi. All I can say is that he's not from the Chinese entertainment industry."

But rumour has it that the man in question is Kevin Chan, a 30-something orthodontist who has a close friend in Jessica's circle of friends. "It was me and a couple of our mutual friends who introduced Hsuan Huen (Jessica's Chinese name) to Kevin," a close pal of the star has been quoted saying. "She and Kevin took a liking to each other instantly."

This is word for word from the article, nothing added. Well all I can say is that I'm VERY happy for Jessica and I wish them both the best. Whew! It took me a LONG time to find the picture that matched the one in the article because I don't have a scanner.

If you can't see the picture, copy and paste this URL "http://www.geocities.com/tiny_jessica2001_gallery01/images/prosection02.jpeg" to view it. It's a publicity picture from "Witness To A Prosecution".

    3. wong he
    4. julian
    5. tie b/w joe & bowie (haven't seen her w/ nick yet)
From her series that I've watched, here's my list:

    1. Louis, can't argue.
    2. Gallen, really like them in GF, also in CBWH though their relation was...pathetic.
    3. Julian, really compatible.
    4. Wong He, the chemistry in AMOC was quite deep even with all the hostility and everything.
    5. Jason Wu, I found them attuned in A Chinese Ghost Story.
    6. Joe Ma, I actually find them adorable in Man's Best Friend though they're not a couple.
    7. Hacken, cute.
    8. Bobby, I guess followed narrowly by Bowie & Francis.

I can't say much about Roger coz I watched SP incompletely, and I'd like to watch Game of Deceit but still waiting patiently.

Well, both my Cantonese and Mandarin are ghastly but that doesn't stop me from watching Chinese series (TVB, ATV, Taiwan, Mainland) coz I just love them, esp. when my fave actors/-resses are in it...like seeing Jessica, nothing is redundant, in fact...it's inevitable.
More comment for A Chinese Ghost Story (strictly about Jess)...her costumes are sooooooooooo cool and stylish.

About that new article that JessCC posted, if it's finally out in the open and confirmed, all I can say is, best wishes for Jessica.

Well, I actually picked up Cantonese while watching Cantonese series when I was younger. But because my Cantonese is better than my non-exsitent Mandarin, I prefer watching TVB series rather than Taiwan series. Besides, I don't know any actors or actresses in Taiwan, so, no point! hehe.....

I watch my Taiwanese series dubbed, so no problem with the Mandarin. I only watch Taiwanese series when there are no TVB series for me to rent and after I've re-seen all my Jessica series for the 100th time, then I will go and rent a Taiwanese series. I think Eternity was the only Taiwanese series I was hangin to rent for very obvious reasons.

Also apart from Deric, Lawrence was also in this series (Outburst) and he and Jessica dated in the series.

Don't worry, all your patience will be paid off. I've finished Square Pegs and am on to Game of Deceit. So camp outside your mailbox, it will be delivered one day! Just don't scare the mail man off before hand

Yep, because Deric and everyone else forgotten all about Jessica. The scene starts on the day of Amy and Deric's marriage, and Jessica turns into a red thread that ties their ankles together, but the mortals cannot see it. Then he bumps into this little girl and he stares at her, finding her very familar. The girl's parent calls her name, and we're given the suggestion that she's Jessica's reincarnation.

Now, umm, what I'd give to be able to watch Outburst, cos I'm a fan of Deric too. Anyone know what the chinese title is called?
