Yes! Neither do I. Joe had starred with Jessica, Louis, Sammi, and some others in Man's Bestfriend. I think Joe's character was interested in Jessica but her character had a thing for Louis. So all these recent series with Joe and Jessica wasn't the first series they starred together.

I don't like their pairing because I would like Joe paired up with someone else and not Jessica.

at the beginning louis wanted to earn some money so he went to this sword making shop n this old wrinkled guys were touching him all over...on the outside he wuz smiling but he wuz actually cursing them in his head n stuff....n then he spent the night at the stables n wuz talking 2 a horse b4 he slept[really funny scene!!]in the morning the stable owner came to tell him that someone had bought that horse for him....and then as belki sed, he helped the wrong people......then he n the thugs were throwing arrows into this tiny botttle to see who gets jessica n he won... he then brought jessica to his room n of course she really thought he wuz a pervert n threatened to bite her tongue to commit suicide and louis scolded her saying that her tongue is 10 foot long so even if she bites it 10 times she still wont die...then jessica undid the ropes tying her wrists n whacked louis on the head with a pillow[which is really hard because u noe those olden days pillows...rock hard]...n she escaped to help her friend..!?is he her friend?well nvm....then she got caught by n louis helped her escape....n the rest is quite boring actually.....

I mean, I went to my apartment grounds to ask the TVB shop how much their rental is worth, but you have to put a deposit first and to borrow ONE VCD and put RM20 deposit is not worth it, lah..... Hey rachellam, I'm from Penang. I wish I could do the rental thing but if you give the RM20 deposit, you only get RM10 back when you cancel the account. And it doesn't count the rental for a CD/tape, which is about RM2/3.

hahaha..... I made the SAME mistake you did, thinking that Roger and Jessica sang the song. They DID sing the song in a TVB special BUT the original one for the series was sung by Hacken Lee and someone else (Wong Yee Man, or Wong Yik Man, something like that, my reading of Chinese is not THAT good).

Have you guys watched their new series 'A handful of love'? they actually look more compatible then in Lady fan. Actually I hated Joe's character in that series, I didn't even want that series to have a happy ending cas I didn't want Jessica with him. He was so whimpy. But in their new series, they seem to have improve with their chemistry, also I think Joe looks better in modern series then in Ancient series.

To help you with your memory of Joe in 'Mans Best Friend' he played Jessica's boss, at the Vet, actually I liked him in that series. Hope that helps.

Aargh I seen the first 3 episodes of 'A handful of love'. Finally I've been waiting like forever. Jessica and Joe seem to have more chemistry in this series then in Lady Fan. Also the kids are cute! There was this one scene where one of the kids wore a pot on his head like a hat and it got stuck. It was so funny. Then in another scene Jessica and Joe were having a romantic dinner, with only candlelights in the kitchen while the kids were sleeping but two of them came downstairs and thought their were robbers and called the police. hahaha

Also from what I can see I think the conflict of the series will revolve around the difference in Joe and Jessica's personalities cas they are very different from each other. Jessica is the modern girl who is very good at her work outside of the house, but is hopeless inside the house. She cannot cook, she nearly burnt the house down trying to fry a fish, while Joe is completely opposite. There was this scene where Joe wouldn't try running an orange light but Jessica speed up her motorbike to beat it. Also the kids still think that there dad is alive somewhere in africa but he's already passed away. I guess when the kids find out the truth that Joe and Jessica have been lying to them, theirs going to be trouble. Then their Mimi Lo's character too. The series is very good so far.

I just finished watching the first 3 espisode of "A handful of love" and it's boring. I've waited forever for this series to come out and my impression of it so far is this series so far is boring. I'm watching "unstuck in time" and that is currently more interesting than jessica's series. I'm hoping handful of love would get more interesting later on but now I'm more intrigue with unstuck in time. well, gotta go. see ya!
