Hey, Babygurl, you just broke my heart. I'm a Lui Fong fan. *protest protest protest*

Right, Lui Fong is short, and he's not handsome whatsoever, but he's a fantastic artist (He is Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau and Leon Lai's favorite Chinese singer, isn't that something?), and I like the series I saw him in.

He starred in "Chi Jiao Shen Shi" (don't know the English name of this series since it was too long ago) with Sean Lau and Cathy Chow. It was one of the very first HK series I saw back in the 80s and very memorable.

I haven't seen "When Dreams Come True", but from what I remember, he's not that bad an actor.

If you don't think he has chemistry with Jess, that's fine, but don't diss him on his looks.

You don't. You can't upload your custom avatar unless you have 200 posts. But you can go to your User CP, go to Edit Options, and choose an avatar that you like from the ones already provided.

Lui Fong is all right. He may not be the best screen partner for Jess, but he's not a bad actor.

But Jess will always look good, regardless of who her screen partner is!

I somehow don't like "Old Time Buddies" that much. Admittedly, Gallen Lo and Jerry Lamb were hilarious, but the story line was kind of stupid, and Jessica's role wasn't too challenging...

Just my opinion. Don't beat me to death, all the Jessica fans here.

I feel quite the same about the story line, but I like it because it's so funny, I had a lot of good laughs from this serie. The pairing up of Jess and Frances wasn't so hot either, but I still enjoyed watching those two.

Lol when I was thinking about the third wheel thing, thought to DIF4 like right away as well. I do agree that she wasn't a third wheel in there since like you said, Anne was like considered missing and even dead there. Even when Anne came back Jessica didn't "force" herself on Louis or anything.

Oh yeah. Read a review for Reciepe for the Heart and I didn't like the sound of her role either. I did catch a few tapes of the serie though, but there wasn't much of it. I remember that scene had Jessica in it and she was taking pictures of Bobby and Esther when they fell on each other in a hotel. Lol, something like that.

Hehe, so Dreams Come True is out? Hmmm....would you guys suggest to get it? I'm thinking about it.....since it sounds quite amusing. What is Cutie's role in here anyways?

I guess it depends on what you like in characters to determine if she was annoying in the serie. Like me, I dislike her role in A Good Match From Heaven...

Ooooh.. I just saw A Reciept of the Heart on tv.. but I didn't watch it because it was in mandarin.. oh wells. I didn't know Louis was in this show. Cool. Jessica had really really really short hair here. Interesting...

Earlier in her career, she participated in a standalone series, Passion Among Us , where I believe she was full-fledged evil. I guess there were hints of evilness in her character from Eternity but not quite. She definitely got 'cool' and 'unaffectionate' down stone cold, which personally was a great change to see.

When Dreams Come True was pretty blah. Cutie gave her usual stuff, toned down into playing the innocent one, contrasting Jessica's snotty character. Lui Fong just felt entirely awkward and clueless through out the series and it's just the acting. It was a feel-good, made-for-the-new-years type of series with little substance of anything called a plot. Skip it, really.

Jessica Hsuan will be celebrating her birthday on 18th August and appearing at the August Birthday Stars event yesterday, she indicated that she will begin filming for her new series a few days before her birthday, so she may not have time to celebrate nearer the time. Talking of this being her first birthday spent with her new boyfriend and this having a special meaning, Jessica says: "I know, so I hope that I will be able to have dinner with him." Does she want him to buy her a car or a house for her birthday? Jessica laughs: "This is only what a husband should get a wife, but we are just dating, so this is not necessary."

Jessica Hsuan joined Alex Fong (Lik San), Chan Kai Tai and Flora Chan in a promotional event for this years Legislative Council elections and the organisers of the event had arranged for three parachutists to help with the activities as they landed in Victoria Harbour. As the event took place around noon and the sun shone directly overhead, the guests were forced to stand in the heat and sunlight for about half an hour, leaving them sweating buckets. Afterwards, Jessica immediately ran into the tent to rest a while because she said that the sun had left her a little dizzy.

Jessica has just returned to Hong Kong from America, where she attended her cousin's wedding and had a vacation. She reveals that she caught the bride's bouquet at the wedding and everyone immediately cheered. Jessica says that this is the second time that she has caught a wedding bouquet and this time many friends and relatives asked her when she would be getting married. Later, she will be attending another cousin's wedding in Australia and the reporters laughed that if she receives the bouquet again, then it is definitely time for her to get married.

Alex was very curious about the three parachutists and often looked around inquisitively. He would like to try parachuting as well as bungee jumping, but he has not yet had the opportunity. He laughs that although he has never tried these exhilarating activities, he still feels he is quite a brave person. Alex also says that he has seen the reports about Stephy Tang giving her first screen kiss to Sam Mei, laughing that as she they are from the same company, he will pay particular attention. He says that he has worked many times with the Cookies girls as well as Rain Li, but he has not had much chance to work with other female artistes. When asked if he was jealous about the news surrounding his rumoured girlfriend, he jokes: "What it to do with me, I can't get jealous after every time someone has a kiss!"

Jessica Hsuan, Sunny Chan, Patrick Tang and Dave Wang were among the cast members gathered at TVB City yesterday for the costume fitting of new series "My Wife, Your Honour". Jessica reveals that when she and Sunny worked together on "Secret of the Heart", he had promised her that if no-one wanted her, he would marry her, but when Jessica found out that he was already married, she was devastated and joked that if no-one wants her in the future, she would have to be Sunny's mistress.

Jessica plays a judge in the new show and responding to the comments that TVB had tailor made this show for her in order to keep her on their books, Jessica denies this, but pledges to treasure this opportunity she has been given, because TVB rarely makes shows that have the female as the central lead.

In the series, Jessica and Sunny have a baby and at the event, Sunny would not let go of the baby actor, constantly telling the baby to call him 'Daddy' and attracting jokes that he is extremely broody. Sunny admits that he has been busy making babies with his wife, but as he will be filming, this will be put back by a few months.
