I think she's doing the concert with 3 other stars. All the info WAS on the bravenet forum, but I'm not sure if it's still up.
I know that Jessica can speak english very well =D, but I dunno about the others.
I hope to be able to see Jessica when I go back to HK this August.
How was your meeting with Jessica, sweetberry?
The other 3 stars besides Jessica are Ada Choi, Tze-Wah Wong (VOH) and Harlem Yu. Here is the info from Harrah's Hotel Lake Tahoe.

welcome sweetberry!![]()
looks like i'll miss another great opportunity to see HK stars. last year Louis was in Houston & i wasn't able to go because of the timing. this time i'm not able to go because i'm a bit broke right now. it's quite sad really. sad as in pitiful.![]()
HK definately doesn't look to bright either. airplane tickets are always cheaper for college students so traveling next year looks pretty promising right now. hope some of u can meet up w/ me next year. i'm mad because at the university i'm going to, the a Scholars Program went to HK last year to study abroad for spring. i don't know if they're going again for the years that i'm there though![]()
i know there's not many new Jessica series out there now so is there any other series at all that u guys would recommend? i'm currently watching The Academy. just finished Shades of Truth which was quite boring up until the last few tapes. i have a long summer ahead of me & i'm not seeing many good series out there.
Hey I'm kinda new to this thread. But i've been hearing things about the Concert in Us. I'm so excited! I want to go, but I don't know anyone that's going and I don't want to go alone. Who's going by the way?
Well I don't like Joe at all. Joe is so , I donno weird. No offense or anything, but he looks like he's either a pervert or a rapist. (Got that from ATE2) I perfer Louis Koo with her. Their chemistry is 1000% amazing. And the fact that they resemble each other too.![]()
wow,got to see jessica in concert...and ada is goin to be there as well...i envy those who will be there.....anyway,enjoy to those who are going....i hope TVB do one soon in msia soon....
funny face
The beauty of Life does not depend on how happy you are,but on how happy others can be...becoz of YOU
In Lady Fan, Joe looks kinda dumb all the time. He's always got that frown/confused look on his face.. and his talking is kinda weird too. Apparently he was better with Jessica in A Handful of Love... so I guess, it could just be the character he was playing. At least Joe is taller than Jess (by a lot), so that kinda looks good.Originally Posted by Chloe
Are they going to be finished filming Legends of Ah Wong soon? It'll be cool to see them film on location. (Maybe in August? lol.. fingers crossed)
Jessica's New Look:
English Translation from the Oriental News:
Jessica and Roger Kwok were the judges for TVB's program "Minutes to Fame" yesterday. Jessica was very strict in grading and showed no mercy to ordinary contestants with a "ding".
Among the results, a contestant who was a "fat version of Teresa Teng", lasted 28 seconds and was rather disappointed with her swift "ding". No wonder even the host Hacken Lee teased Jessica for her cruelty. After the incident, Jessica commented that she could feel a sense of hatred from the contestant after she swiftly "ding" her out. She could see the contestant's look of unhappiness and disappointment on the stage. But Jessica maintained that she used her conscience to judge. This program is not just about singing ability but more importantly, visual impact.
How did Jessica feel about all the contestants' performance? They could put in more effort, she commented. In addition, there was a male contestant with a glib tongue who praised jessica for her beauty. Not only that, with an air of seriousness and boldness, he hinted that he hoped Jessica could be his dance partner. In the end, with the result of 55 seconds, he was "ding" out by Jessica.
On the other hand, Roger pointed out that "Minutes to Fame" is able to discover/talent-spot numerous contestants to become actors. He revealed that "Legend of Ah Wong" uses one former contestant to play the Lee family's elder brother while another boy portrayed the role of Ah Wong as a child.

Jessica looks pretty with bangs. But I still liked her hair better before. I guess I'm just not used to it yet. ;p

FRIKIN UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!
Jessica's birthday party this year is going to be held on August 6th in Hong Kong.
And I'm going back to Hong Kong on August 11th! So close! That's the earliest date I can go back due to my exams. Oh man, I'm so mad and upset right now. I can't believe I'm short one week of being able to see her! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! And I was really hoping I'd get to meet her this time. NOOOOOOO!!!!
i'm so sorry Kathie. that really sucks.but if u stay in HK for as long as i think u are, there's bound to be a chance for u to meet her. go to Bravenet & ask about her upcoming events. sound really pitiful & perhaps some of her "close" fans can get u close too
or u can try the Babygurl method & camp outside TVB's place & meet every HK celebs possible.
hey i'm going to Canada tomorow. what city are u in Kathie?
Yeah, one of her fans said that they'll be seeing Jessica off at the HK airport on the 13th when she leaves for Singapore... so perhaps I'll get to catch a glimpse of her then? And perhaps when she comes back to HK on the 17th too.. haha. But the HK airport is so far away from the city. Dunno how I'll be able to get out there.. but I will find a way. lol..
Oh man. But I was bawling my eyes out. I couldn't believe that I'd miss it by so little. Sigh.. I guess I'm not very lucky. Apparently if we snail mail her, she'd receive the letters. Maybe I can try to write to her and wish her Happy Birthday that way. Shucks. And to think I was going to go shopping for a present for her next weekend. HAHA.
I live in Vancouver. Are you going to be heading up here? Or are you going to Toronto, Ottawa, etc?
wow all the way in Vancouver? i'll be in Toronto cuz it's closer to Ohio. i'd have to take a plane to go to where u are. maybe we can meet up sometime if ur planning to travel near where i am.
yeah i'd definately go to the airport to meet her. scream out really loud that ur all the way from Canada & that u came especially to see her. act crazy & lovable. get her a gift anyways![]()
Have a safe and fun trip! =)
Yeah, I woke up this morning and still couldn't believe that I was going to miss the birthday party. Sigh.. I guess I'll have to wait one more year. This time I'm going to make sure I'm in Hong Kong for the entire August, so nothing can stop be from attending. LOL!
The present I was going to get her is kinda big, so I can't really give it to her at the airport or wherever cuz then where is she going to put it after? Darn. Maybe I'll bring it to TVB and have them put it in her locker or something.
i'm back. Toronto was fun. i bought a lot of DVDs while i was there. i was looking for posters but i didn't see any. we bought a bunch of fruits & hid them before we crossed the border. it was pretty funny. i hide some lychee in cups & covered them w/ yogurt. thank god we didn't get caught or else a hefty $600 fine would make those fruits quite expensive.![]()
have fun in HK anyways. would u rather be me & not go at all?if u plan to go again next year, i might be there w/ u. no promises that i won't be broke next year too though.
Hey Babygurl! Looks like it's just you and me on this thread nowadays. But it's all good. I can't wait to go back to HK and go on a massive shopping spree! =) I wanna buy a lot of DVDs too (movies that I haven't watched and if I'm lucky I wanna buy some tv series too). However, I heard that it's illegal to bring back "fake" DVDs from HK. I'm kinda scared that they'll check my luggage! eeks! But those ones are so much cheaper! HAHA!
I'm hoping I'll get to see Jessica at the airport. Although that's the morning I'm arriving.. lol.. I'll be at the airport twice in the same day. But to me it's all worth it.. but too bad I don't know how to get around by myself yet.. I don't know if my mom will think it's "worth it" to go trucking back to the airport again. HAHA! However, I guess I could see her again on the 26th, when she leaves for Paris. But I don't want to risk it again.
I'm going to try and find a co-op job in HK next summer.. so then I'll be in HK from May to August. And this time, Jessica can have it any day in August and I'll be sure to book that day off from work. HAHA! Originally, I was going to work in HK this upcoming September, but then I haven't gotten my HK id yet, so it'll be a hassle to get a working visa... hence getting my HK id this time when I go back so it'll be easier to find a job for next summer. Muhaha, my mom saw that I was so upset for missing out on Jessica's party this year.. she said I can go back again next year. So I'm praying to get a job next year. If not, I'll have to continue studying (like this summer).. and exams are always the first week and a half of August, and I don't wanna risk missing Jessica's party again. =( So you should definitely come to HK next summer! It'll be so much fun!
HAHA looks like we are the only ones here. oh well. this is pretty nice too. it's like emailing a long distance friend everyday. hey! we're pen pals!![]()
so i'm guessing u speak Cantonese? i'm taking Chinese in college but they don't offer Canto, just Mandarine. i hope to learn Canto on the side somehow. i'd definately take a job in HK anyday. i love that city. i want to visit it so bad. i'll save for next year. maybe we can somehow hang out & look around together. at least u won't be wandering alone & i won't be lost out of my mind.![]()
Yes, I speak Cantonese at home. I'm learning Mandarin at school too. Well, I do sort of know Mandarin a bit already because I've had private lessons a couple years ago.. but then I stopped. I'm learning how to read and write right now. At least I'll be able to know the basics when I go back to HK. HAHA!
You definitely have to save up for next year! Then we can go out and have fun together! (Hopefully by that time, I'll know my way around a bit so we won't get too lost and get raped or something! HAHA!) It'll be cool. And if you ever come to Vancouver to visit, give me a shout! =)
Hello kathie, babygurl, all of you...
I know I haven't visited this forum for ages...I checked from time to time in hurry but somehow never did get enough time to post. Anyway, it's good to see that it's still lively. Looking forward for the birthday party of Jess, heard that the Singaporean fans are trying to make one of their own since Jess is going there on the 13th, hmmm...it's closer to Indonesia, so if they do have the b'day in Singapore I should have to make a choice. I don't know, had been really busy with work and everything, but I'm sure I can get away for the weekend (fingers crossed).
I miss you gals, promise to drop by more often. For now, see ya.

When I wake up in the morning I always remind myself to 'Seize the Day.'
