Yeah, it's been really quiet here lately. I hope people will come back and chat. I just realized that it's been about a year since I registered on this forum. I used to only post on the Jessica thread.. but then I started watching more chinese tv and ended up posting on those threads too. HAHA! And then discovered some actresses that were worth commenting.... lol

Hey guys sorry for the dissapearing act, but I've been pretty busy. But good news is that I've got the next 12 days off so i'm hoping to do a few more posting, actually you might get a little sick of me! I can't believe I was able to get annual leave just in time for Jessica's b'day celebrations but I've got no money to go. Why is fate so hard on me??? I've recently had to renovate my bathroom which just drained my savings account. I had to make a decision between meeting Jess in HK or not have a shower for a year, I had to finally pick the shower cas I know that even if I go to HK they probably won't let me in cas I probably won't be smelling too nice.

Also the reason I haven't been visiting this forum that much is because there are just no good series lately. I watched Jess's and Sunny's series Just love and it was alright, not much to comment on, it wasn't a bad series but its definetly not her best. It was a shame cas I had no problems with any of the actors/actresses in this series, I really liked the pairing of Jess and Sunny but the series really lacked in storyline. But I'm finding that is the case with a lot of TVB series lately. Like Michelle and Frankie's series, if you haven't watched this one then I suggest you don't. And if anyone asks you who stars in this series, don't say Michelle. She is not lead, in fact after about the 4th episode, she turns more supporting. Her love story was doomed from the start, the only reason I am still watching this series is because it is her last TVB series. I have no doubt in my mind why she chose to leave TVB.

As for Jess, I'm just hoping her new series "Square pegs 2" is better, In fact they better give her better roles then the last ones she's been getting, or and pair her up with compatible male leads too, I'm sorry but Joe ma cannot pair up with Jess again, they just do not have chemistry. Even though Nick Cheung looks shorter then Jess, but they still have more chemistry. Game of deceit is one of my favourite series.

Do you know what? To solve all of their problems they should just take my suggestion and employ me!!!!!! If they want guaranteed ratings I am the one to see. I know you guys are thinking the same right?

Darn, so I'm guessing none of us are going to celebrate Jessica's birthday this year eh? No worries, next year next year!! What ever happened to our plan to dance on the drums for Jessica at her party? lol!! Ooh, speaking of drums.. I'll get to watch that episode soon in A Step into the Past. It's showing on weekends only.. so it's going rather slowly, but it's still okay. I'm disappointed that Jessica appears only 5-10 min in some random episodes. Boo.

I agree that TVB's storyline is going down in the dumps lately. There is no real depth.. most of it is silly and nonsense. HAHA! My mother told me that's she's waiting for me to get a job at TVB so then I can write some better scripts. First thing we gotta do is cast Jessica and Louis together again.

A Handful of Love is airing in Canada soon... I think next month. I'm going to have to get someone to help me tape it while I'm away. Doh. Although I'm not a big fan of Joe Ma, but it's the only Jessica I get to see on tv.. so I'll have to suck it up. HAHA!

it's almost 5 in the morning over here & i still can't sleep yet. just finished watching the movie One Night in Mongkok starring Cecilia Cheung & Daniel Wu. TVB series aren't interesting these days so i turned to movies. i'd definately suggest this movie if ur currently sick of series.

i just finished watching The Academy. it was amusing but not all that great. the ending was so sad though. it was so unexpected, it brought tears to my eyes. anyone here like Ron Ng?

i rented Jewel in the Palace & Just Love. Just Love hasn't come out in full yet. i have to wait week by week to rent it. i haven't started JITP yet. i hope it's good. seems like Korean series are getting more attention than TVB series. TVB needs to step up to the plate.

it's sad that none of us got ot go the Jessica's party this year. oh well, i think it's meant to be. fate is making us wait until ALL of us can go.

Katie, if ur gonna be in HK in August, u don't have to have things taped for u. u get to watch TVB series as they show them. that'll be great. & i can actually understand everything. that's even greater!

I heard Jewel in the Palace was a good series, except it's a bit long. 70 Episodes! I remember seeing the interview that Jessica had with the actress in Jewel in the Palace... I forgot her name. It was kinda funny because Jessica was speaking in Cantonese, and the other actress was speaking back in Korean. LOL! But they seemed to know what's going on.

I'm getting this small heart shaped glass plaque thing engraved with a picture of Jessica on it.. saying Happy Birthday. I don't know if I should put my name on it though. I'm planning on giving that to her this year... if I get a chance to see her, if not I'll leave it with one of the others fans in HK. I already know what I'm going to get Jessica next year. LOL! It was a little too big to bring back this time... next year next year. =)

yeah Jewel in the Palace is pretty long. when i rented it, the guy gave me a whole stack of DVDs & said "good luck finishing it all". so far, i've only seen eps 1 & 2. it's pretty good. i still dread it being too long though.

yeah, definately a DIF5. i wanna buy DIF4 but when i think of the ending, it makes me really mad. if Sonja comes near the set, we'll have her ran over too. oopsie daisy! Sonja got hurt.

I second that motion! LOL! Anne MUST die or disappear.. never to be heard of to interfere with Jess and Louis' relationship. Whatever happened to Charmaine in DIF IV? I forgot.. maybe we can make her disappear and find someone new for Sunny. =)

haha unless we write truckfulls of letters to TVB, there's no way we can find a drum as big as in ASITP & even be able to drag it all the way to HK. maybe we can make a paper drum?

I agree, no Sonija, no Anne, no one to ruin their perfect relationship. and that Michelle or whoever that played Princess in that ASITP needs to die too (TVB did a good job of that) . I think it'll be really cool if they have a kid or two together. Little girl like tiffany tse in AHOL, and baby boy like the one in Just love.

Or since Louise has already successfully travelled to the past, they could have sent someone else on a new mission, to eradicate the past, back to the time before Sonija was born, that way she can never interfere with Jessica and Louis again! and while on the mission, our hero accidently got rid of Anne Hueng past too.

Oh! and about that drum, we should just go check out Louis Koo's house, i think his got it stashed somewhere, in the event that he and Jessica want to do a "secret dance" together sometime. hehe its also a good excuse to check out his house (and him!)

oh jeez. i'd die if Michele Saram was highly promoted by TVB. for a moment, i thought she really was being promoted though. she appeared in ATE2 & Louis's music vid. i thought they were trying to bring her to fame but i was wrong....whew!

PROJECT #3: When Dreams Come True. Lui Fong replaced by Louis. i'm sry. the man might be a good singer (i loved the themesong) but he's no physical match for Jessica. like i said before, they match like ice cream & onions.

& while i'm at it PROJECT #4: any series w/ Joe Ma, well.......just get rid of Joe Ma.

I think Jessica paired up nicely with Gallen in Golden Faith. And Roger in Square Pegs. Was she good with Wong Hei in A Matters of Custom? I think Wong Hei is a pretty good actor too. His demeanor sometimes reminds me of Louis (except his eyes are bit too squinty).

I love Jessica and Gallen in Golden Faith they had such great chemistry! that's one of my favorite series! and the chemistry with Jessica and GAllen seemed almost like it was real! except i hated how Gallen always had to stand up for Anne i mean he doesn't love her and he's saying he does and hurts Jessica... i hate that....
