You mean Jessica's contract with TVB that says she'll film only one series per year? That's so fast! I thought it was only last year that she signed that contract with them! But in a way that's good, so hopefully Jessica will sign with them and do more than one series per year. =)

I thought Jessica is doing another series with Lisa instead of TITS II, because it's on hold right now. No word on it though.

Technically Life Made Simple could have made it to next year's Anniversary show, but I guess TVB wanted a good series to back up the Anniversary month, so Life Made Simple was made to be nominated in this year's show. Booners. So that means there will be no series out for Jessica next year for sure. Booners again.

Her contract was effective starting October 2004. It was a two year - ones series per year contract. =( hope she signed with TVB again

Wow. So Jessica only signed a contract with TVB for two years only? That's short! I hope this time, she'll sign for longer. Keeps us from panicking everytime her contract needs to be renewed. ;p

So during those two years, she was only allowed to film one series per year. That means, she only had to film 2 series during that contract. Why is there 3? Unless Just Love started right in October 2004. Doh. I think I got myself confused. LOL!

I believe it started filming in August... but it counted for this contract, because I read an article saying Handfuk of Love was last series on her old contract, So Just Love is in this current contract.

She could film more than one per year if she wanted to, but she is only required by the contract to do one series. Jessica had all the cards in her hand when she signed it. TVB bows to Jessica! I bet there were certain umm.... special treatment? that made Jessica happy.

I don't like it when she makes us all worried about her contract ending!! I was scared to death last time!

And she still had such a high position in the company during the Anniversary. Woots! GO JESSICA! I'm so proud of her! EEEeeee.. I feel like squeeling now. =D

I'll be watching the Anniversary show in... 2 minutes!! My tv is on stand by right now. hehehe... I just want to see Jessica in her pretty dress. *drool

Hmm okay back from watching the Anniversary show. Ehh, not so excited anymore. It almost bored me to tears. All I saw most were the 9 hosts. =_='' I couldn't see any of the other artists, except for those few that got the awards. Geez. I couldn't even see Jessica! I had to watch soooo carefully for her and see a spec of her in the corner somewhere. Gayz. I wonder why she even bothered to change dresses since we couldn't see it anyways. Gaaaaahhh... so disappointed. It was all talk and nothing else. I missed last years anniversary. =( It was so much better. The performances were 100x better than this years silly little dance and "magic show". Arugh.

wasn't it last year or the year before that when they played games? i remember watching a clip of Jessica, Kevin, Roger, & others playing the Pringles game where they had to eat a Pringle that was put on their face. that was funny.

the only thing that was good about this year's anniversary is seriously just the clothes. American award shows have a bunch of catagoies, TVB only has a few. now it's even less w/ the 10 Favorite Characters gone.

i think the Most Improved catagory should be called Best Supporting Actor/Actress. i feel bad for those who play supporting roles all the time & are so good at it they don't improve & thus don't get an award.

if Jessica doesn't renew her contract this year i'll cry. she scares me everytime her contract's up too. i'm afraid she'll leave like Gallen & Flora. that's why i don't like her doing mainland series. she might decide to keep doing them. the 'ol "trying out new things" excuse. i'm also afraid when she gets a boyfriend. i know it's selfish of me but if she gets a boyfriend, there's a chance of her getting married & quitting showbiz. now unless she marries Louis, that's another story.

Hee... i met her this yr at a mini press conference in singapore.... and took a pic with her... she is really tall!!! and her eng was so perfect.... roger was there but nv had a chance to take a pic with him... he is still so boyish looking...

Yeah, the Pringles game was more entertaining than this year's "sit and pop the balloon game" because it was pretty pointless. There was no degree of difficulty at all. Although I must say that having a chip on your face is not too pleasant. It'll make your face salty and ruin your makeup. LOL!

There were WAY better performances last year. Wasn't it last year that Jessica and Roger re-enacted the Matrix with Ah Wong? LOL! That was funny and actually fun to watch. The War and Beauty performance was funny too. It ACTUALLY made me laugh.

I agree that this year was all about the dresses and nothing else. Although I don't understand why they would even bother changing into a new set because all they did was sit in those darn chairs far far away from the camera. I remember last year there were more faces shown and they weren't sitting so far away back from the stage. I wonder where Jessica went half way through the show. She was sitting right in the front row (I ACTUALLY could see a little bit of her for half a second before the camera panned away)... but then later when I tried to find her again, she wasn't there! I thought she had gone to change... but then she never came back out! I bet she was bored to tears too and decided to go back stage to chat. LOL! What a shame for everyone to get all dressed up and not even be able to see them. Gayz.

TVB needs to bring back the good ol Anniversary show. The new one is... ehhh.. not so great.

Jessica HAS to renew her contract with TVB. I'm not even going to begin to think about her leaving too. TVB will be DOOMED if she leaves because all the really good artists have left already. She's probably one of the only better ones left out of the whole Gallen, Flora, Louis crew. Maybe that's why she got such special treatment with her last contract. Perhaps TVB will do it again just to keep her. They know she is valuable to the company and esp. with her huggggee fan base. =D Now TVB doesn't want all of us to go throw rocks at them for making Jessica leave right? *wink wink I swear if Jessica leaves, I'm going to stop watching TVB.

Well, I do want Jessica to find a boyfriend and marry off because she'll be 40 in about 5 years. We don't want her to be single for the rest of her life and be lonely at an old age (although I'm sure a lot of us will be willing to spend precious time with her so she won't be lonely.. lol). I just don't want her to quit out of the blue and not let us know in advance. I want her to continue acting until she's a grandma.. LOL! NOW she'll have plenty of different roles to play.

I so totally agree on the TVB anniversary show. I stayed in the hotel specially just to watch it & almost slept halfway thro...should have gone to other places...Y didn't TVB ask Jess to present some award or something so us fans can see more of her?
Anyway, fingers cross of Jess to renew her contract....it will definitely be more dull without Jess in TVB...

Jessica LEAVE TVB nooooooo I'm going to have nightmares!!! I might just go crazy from boredom of not being able to see Jessica in a TVB series again! First Gallen, then Louis....Flora then Michelle.... if no Jessica, then basically there is no TVB, they should just change their name, or better yet change industries. The TVB series that I now watch per year is getting less and less, cas all the great artists are leaving one by one, and frankly If Jess leaves too, I probably may even cease to watch TVB series altogether. Cas out of the new and upcoming artists, none really grab my attention. Most I find unbareable to watch.

Hey guys don't worry about Jess ever being lonely or bored, cas I'm prepared to stick with her 24/7. (um maybe not when she is doing personal business, like on the occasion that Louis 'happens to drop by' or she needs to go to the bathroom). What a great fan I am! Always prepared to make my No1 idol happy.

In the anniv, one year they played this game where a ping pong ball was put between two people, this ball was propelled in mid air by some fan, and the two people had to compete by grabbing the ball with their mouth, who ever got it won. That was such a funny game, there was one where (I think) kenix and Bobby were competing and they both missed the ball and I think Bobby actually got Kenix on the cheek instead. I think Roger won that game. Now imagine if that was Jess and Louis competing, they'll probably miss on purpose! I know I would if I was playing with Louis.

oh no u guys. i just stopped by the Bravenet forum & apparently ppl weren't really happy w/ the LMS ending. i was afraid to go any further cuz i don't want the ending spoiled like it did for me w/ SP. i need to keep myself from going to Bravenet until i watch it.

if Jessica leaves i'll end up watching ATV since i think Flora moved there. i'll follow Jessica anywhere.....maybe not so much mainland series. i'm not too fond of mainland series. it depends on if the series is interesting or not. i'm pretty sure she'll sign on again. her health seems to be improving compared to last year & TVB won't let yet another star go. they'll have nothing!

i wish it was like the good ol days when Gallen, Louis, Flora, Michelle were still here, when u get to see a lot of Ada, & when they all starred in the same series together.

It'd be a heavy duty cast to have all of them starr in a series together. Each of them will cost so much to "hire". It'll be a really big production. But of course, I bet it'll be really good too. Nothing but the best from the best! =)

I wonder if Jessica has Louis' number in her cellphone. Imagine if you had the same phone as Jessica and you pretend to bump into her and "accidently" swapped phones.

The ending for LMS isn't even out yet, how do people know what the ending is about? I think they are just making assumptions based on what they read and what they've watched so far. I like the SP plot better. The ideas were better, but I guess if I hadn't watched SP before, LMS would be just as good too. Meh.

I wonder if Jessica will be back home for Christmas...

of course the all-star series would be great. it would be the series that end all series. it'll put other series to shame it'll be so good. i'm telling ya, the only thing missing from ATE I&II was Jessica. it would've been perfect.
