this issue is sometime quite messy especially you got stuck with the ones that you don't know of.
It's just like back when they mistakened I and the person because of praising the same actress so they banned us. I got gack however it takes a long time for that person to be back in here but I think she doesn't want to post much in here for that reason.

I completely disagree !! How can you say that Carman is not "pretty at all"??????? She has big round eyes and tall slender nose with nice lips. Her face is very well-adjusted and naturally. She's considered a natural beauty. You can't find her beauty in other actresses. Of course she is very beautiful. How can you not see that????

Beauty is the eye of the beholder, my friend. I find actresses like Alyssa Chia, Gao Yuan Yuan, Phyllis Quek, Yang Mi, Jiang Qin Qin, etc way prettier than her. Its all an opinion, so don't get mad.

it´s bit strange that you say dong xuan is better than carman because dong xuan is a newcomer but carman has acted for ages.

Acting for ages, doesn't make you a great actor or actress. However, among newcomers, acting skills that are genuinely good or great is a rare thing too, and yet, its not impossible.

I've seen more than one series with Carmen Lee, so I'll comment on her. Carmen's facial expressions are very limited and at times, she was quite wooden in her delivery of lines.

Okay lightanddark, I think you've made your voice pretty clear on this subject. And I think everyone respects your opinions on Carman Lee. And you know how much I like Carman Lee, but for you to keep posting 'against' another poster because their opinion on Carman Lee is different than yours is not very mature. Please take into consideration that other people can express their opinion, it can be a good or bad one, but for you to post 'against', explain or disagree with the poster is kinda irritating. I think so,too. I don't think she is wooden at all. In her other series, she can play cold(fanastic for that), lovely(stunning), innocent, serious, or even mischief(oh how funny she is). She acts very well.

I know that "Beauty is the eye of the beholder" like you said but if one's prettier than others you can recognize right away. By looking at these actresses, I can tell Carman Lee is the prettiest of them all. She has grace and elegance around her. Her face is very well adjusted(eyes, nose, and lips)

I emphasize again "THOSE TWO LOOK KINDA ALIKE" - the word KINDA emphasizes more than enough!

Just because Carmen has been acting forever doesnt make her a good actress. An older teacher who had taught for a longer time, doesnt make him a better teacher than a new teacher who is more opened to newer form of teaching.

There is no way to compare the two to each other because it's up to the eater's taste. Just like how they see these actresses. Everyone has DIFFERENT tastes. There is NO SUCH THING as perfect nose, eyes, lips, etc. SERIOUSLY, there is NO perfect feature. BECAUSE EVERYONE IS MADE DIFFERENTLY. Something you view as the most beautiful lips, nose, or eyes may be the most ugly lips, nose, or eyes to someone else. There are NO set guidelines as to what beauty is. If there was, everyone would want it. The bottom line is, what YOU see as beautiful is not always beautiful in OTHER PEOPLE'S eyes.
