Holy cow, this series is over 270 episodes long? OH my god, I'm gonna have a heck of a time recording everything. I have the Chinese package DishNetwork and it started playing on "Tai Shi" channel a month ago. I'm only on the second series. And I already have 7 DVDs recorded. At this rate, I'm looking at over 40 DVDs worth of recordings, AiYa! But the great thing is that they already dubbed this into Mandarin, thank god so I don't have to rely on reading the Chinese subs.

This series reminds me of Rising Dragon, in terms of length of the show. But this one is way better. Rising Dragon dragged on and on and on. What's smart about Liu Bo Wen is that they chop up the series so as the audience you get a little breather after a storyline.

Oh Goodness, I just read that this series will finally end on episode 403!!! This breaks the record of the highest amount of episode that Taiwan has ever produced! I'm not sure how long I can keep up with recording one episode a day, and I'm only on episode 40 at the moment. geez.

Is her Liu Bo Wen's new love interest ? I hope the director not intend for Liu Bo Wen fallen in love with her. If A Xiu is really dead, I rather Liu Bo Wen end up alone.
Well, as far as I have seen, Liu Bo Wen seems to treat her as his little sister for now. And in his heart there is always Ah Xiu, and the girl is aware of this, too, on one occasion she even gave Liu Bo Wen a Heavenly Crystal Pearl intended to bring Ah Xiu back to life again. By the way, this happened in story #9 and the girl is playing another character.

The part you're watching right now is story #4, and Ah Xiu died in story #8 - episode #272-273. And between story #4 and story #8 there will be a lot of "hot" (in the meaning of passion, intense and tear dripping) scenes between Liu Bo Wen and Ah Xiu. You should looking forward to them.

why the heck did they make Ah Xiu die???? and on her wedding day too???
She waited soooo long for that day. OMG I cried again
I really feel bad for her character. She really love Liu Bo Wen and he loved her too and why can't he marry her for god sake??? If he afraid the king kill him and kill her, well live happily right now don't worry too much about the future.
I only on third story I guess, the one with involve Liu Bo Wen's sword bro?
I really really hope that Ah Xiu is not actually die. Or I will cry my heart out

Well, from what I could understand, it involved more than just Liu Bo Wen's fear of losing Ah Xiu due to his status as the Imperial Advisor. It has something to do with their destiny together. In story #8 Liu Bo Wen found a book that would change this course of destiny, that's why he would agree to marry her this time. However, this time it was Ah Xiu that didn't want to go through with this...

Well, that Divin Crystal Pearl could bring Ah Xiu back to life, yes. However, there were other people that wanted it as well. Liu Bo Wen got it first, but wether, or not he had the chance to use it to save Ah Xiu, or not, that's the question.

    You mean it's a cliffhanger?
btw, I saw this old series (modern) which stars Zhang Yu Yan (from Snake Spirits Fann Wong version) and Ye Quanzhen, and Song Da Min was one of the supporting cast. In the series, the actress for A Xiu acted as the sister of the main male lead and she is in some sort of relationship with Song Da Min's character. The title of the series is "Wo Zui Ai De Ren"/person I love most. The A Xiu actress' looks always strikes me as the cute/sweet/lovely sort. I don't know if she acts as the lead in any series yet.
    btw, u live at taiwan?

because the majority of the entire population of Brunei watches Astro. I'm also half-Malaysian anyway, my dad is from Sarawak.
As I expected, the cult leader's stepdaughter is supposed to be evil. In addition, she's that evil minister's niece as well. Guess she did a great job in portraying her character, so she's meant to be hated. I thought it was surprising that she would love the general so quickly in the beginning, and then she would be so cruel to try to kill the other girl just because the girl liked the general. The general hadn't even liked the other girl then, or at least not known that he had liked her. And when she knew the other girl was the real princess, she wanted to kill her again, and she was always looking down on the girl as well. I don't know if the actress is Wang Yuting in Yi Nan Wang, they look similar. and the other actress is the lead from 100% senorita, penny lee, its a surprise seeing her here as I didnt know she was into Hokkien. But they do play their roles really well. Both look convincing as their roles, tho Penny's accent is not as heavy as the others (light-er)
It's quite interesting but still what happens next is still a mystery: again the "its up to Liu Bo Wen to save the day" slogan. Keeps you wondering and itching for the next episode.
