Default What is the "multiquote" option do?

Hi, I noticed spcnet had a little makeover. Wondering what the multiquote thing is for and what can we do with it?

Multiquote allows you to quote several posts at one go, instead of doing it one by one which can be quite frustrating. All you need to do is to click on the multiquote icon on each post you want to quote before clicking the reply button. Then you will see that all the posts you have multiquoted are there already.

It is easy to use, and very useful too.

The new editing button is very good too. It allows us to edit just right at the same page instead of going to the usual edit page.

The new functions make the board run more faster and smoother.

I would like to commend the staff for a good job.

Ah, Thanks Guo Xiang. I was wondering about that too. It seems SC just added these features and ran without explaining what she'd added to the forum. I guess she wants us to play around with it and find out on our own.

I like the fact that you can access some the smilies and use different fonts now by the pull down option.

Also, each time we post too early. It tells us exactly how many seconds to wait before we can post again. Nice features by SC.

Some of the new features are also new to me so let's all try to help out with playing around and pointing out new features or bugs.

    Hey you guys,

The long awaited and many times requested Spoiler tags are now *available*! You have to click on the word spoiler to read the spoiler and Click it again to hide it.

Note about spoilers tag, you can use this new icon at the post options to use spoilers $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://www.spcnet.tv/forums/images/misc/spoiler.gif')

Go to advanced reply, rather than using quick reply- then you will see the spoiler function.

yep - i did that, but still can't find the spoiler option, although it was 'supposedly' obvious to see.

So you're not seeing this? I've got a nice red arrow pointing to the Spoiler option.

Nope. In fact, it is so simple, I don't even have the stuff like fonts, smileys etc. And I am already on the advanced reply.

Hmm...Okay. If you go to your User CP and click on Edit Options then scroll down till you see this:

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://i19.tinypic.com/54c9w1f.jpg')

Is your Message Editor Interface identical to mine? I suspect yours is set at basic editor and that is why you don't see smilies and etc.
